I dont think anyone is watching him through rose tinted glasses, but then I would say you are being overly critical TBH. He is a very good player and right now would be the first name on the team sheet from a CB point of view. He certainly isnt first knock, but he mops up very well and has done a great job recently babysitting Jos I cant comment on Forren yet, as I have not seen him play. I would easily bet you a tenner to a charity of your choice that he will be playing next year

They stopped us due to the wrangle between who officially held his contract, whether it was bought with the new purchase of RFC or not included, we agreed payment to ensure we could play him basically and I think it was around the 800k mark

Especially using the positional arguement, Fox is and was a miles better player than Harding, who couldnt mark properlly nor had any positional sense, he was just a hard worker and decent in the tackle. Fox pulls inside as he does not have the pace to recover when beaten and so attempts to stop crosses first snd foremost IMO (obv i dont KNOW what he is thinking)

Dont think anyone disagrees that Shaw is first choice, that boy would be first choice for most of the bottom half of the prem. But Fox wasnt shocking yesterday by any means.

He isnt a CB he is a defensive midfielder, and although I think is very good in the hole ( and in the air FWIW) is much like Mertesacker, turns like a bus and moves like one whose wheels have fell off. Im looking forward to seeing Forren but Maya is first choice for me, then Fonte, Forren may challenge though, thats what he has been bought for. I do slate Jos, but he was outstanding yesterday.

Yoshida was never a zero, I have always though he would make the grade. Positionally he is very good and for a little bloke he wins a fair few headers. My only critiscm was his distribution early on which has vastly improved. Fot those who dont rate him ? What is it you dont like ?

He doesnt fill me with confidence but he didnt play that badly yesterday, I sort of hoped that he would have realised he wasnt getting the ball from the corner and would try to header it but alas he didnt. It was a stupid idea to clip it there anyway. The team should have been more wise to the brakeaway though, we didnt deal with it very well and it was a lucky goal for city too. Is he as good as Shaw ? No, but he wasnt that bad and we wouldnt have got anyone better to sit on the bench behind a young left back.

About Morgan aswell, how long has he been in England now ? And has he ever been capped by France ?
