So, what is it with you lot and only accepting positive news stories no matter how rediculous, yet a negative story always seems to twist some knickers. In reality of course Adkins is under pressure, no matter what he has done in the past two years (though this was helped by an influx of cash and academy products) he has seen 30m worth of new players come in this year, and with the quality of squad and the standard of those teams at the bottom I do t think that its unreasonable to assume he is under review. And FWIW im not saying Adkins job is hanging by a thread, as it isnt, but under review for me means if we go down he is gone.... And Im afraid as much as I like Adkins thats not unreasonable

I agree in theory, but as shown against Stoke, play him the right way ans he is still capable of taking teams apart. We do have much less movement around the box when he spearheads us though, and I am concerned that although we now seem to be starting to get into our grove in regards to the way we like to keep possession etc we dont seem to carve out any real chances, and that for me is due to movement around the main areas. On another note though pace down the wings would warrant the continued inclusion of Rickie as it would be their focus to get behind the opponents backline.

Tbf the last few incarnations of Dune showed that he was susceptable to a day or so of rediculous rantings, Im sure when the drink wears off or the meds kick in he will be ok. Meh, my avatar has been there ages, cant be arsed to change it, pick me one. Transfers were pretty good for me, dissapointing we didnt get a keeper or a new reserve CB. Cortese and Adkins are part of the transfer commitee, neither have sole responsibility to sign players, this is something I agree with is needed at all teams. How can you say we have not played with passion ?

Yoshida is growing into a great little CB for me, his reading of the game is great and works V well with Fonte. Rodriguez shows me flashes he will be a good player, he needs game time. Mayuka ? Has a decent name for himself as up and coming player, looks lively, Ill reserve judgement but yeah concede its a little dissapointing. Then you have Clyne who is fantastic and Ramirez who is or will be V soon easily our best player and arguably too good for us. Ive read a few of your recent posts Bazza, 11.30 is a bit early to be on the sauce Dune.

If that chelsea team wants to turn it on then they will destroy teams, but the fact that they are not top of the league shows their problem, they are very inconsistant. It took them time to get into their stride but then when they get in the ascendancy you are knackered. The array of talent there is phenominal and Ba has taken them up another notch too. We met them on a good day, QPR on a bad day. Lucky for 'arry nothing chelsea really threw at them worked, it was almost the opposite against us come the second half. Would we have stood a better chance with our better players ? Of course, but in reality Chelsea is the best team in the league on paper IMO
