Tranmere 2 - 0 Saints Post Match Reaction

I see you have totally missed my point. I agree with what YOU are saying, but what I was saying is that if all the other top sides had a start to the season like last year we wouldn't be as close as we are right now and we have been lucky that all the sides have had stuttering form. -

This is true, Like i said i don't know how we lost or stats or anything as i didn't listen nor heard anything about the game, today wasn't good enough, but not a disaster but then as you say we need to get more consistent. All season we have got away with our blips because other teams fall away, look at Brighton today, someone is looking after us, we SHOULD be further behind then we are in reality. I am still very very confident, Adkins gets things right more than wrong -

Peterborough, Us, Brighton, Charlton, Plymouth, MK Dons, Notts County None of which have beaten Tranmere at their place some of them have lost. It is a bad result, but lets put it in perspective, we will lose more games going on in the season. If we would have lost this at home i would be severely f*cked off, but it was an away fixture. My main concern seems to be the lack of performance when Lallana is not playing, now i don't actually know what the stats are or what the game sounded like i didn't listen, but we have not scored when he is out of the side, that is worrying really. And i can't explain it, on paper we have the players. -
True, lol Never a good combination that

Should be easily a strong enough first 11 to win this game

Problem is you can go back to football earlier mate, but unless you completely rest it you are gonna permanently weaken that ankle and you'll just reinjure and reinjure, at 19-20 or whatever thats not worth it mate.
-
I completely disagree, the problem with this is it WILL stifle youth development at the same time as helping others. For example, i appreciate some youth players that move to big clubs would not get chances and will not develop as well etc etc However, smaller clubs have smaller acadamies etc and so would not get the same level of training IMO. There should be a compulsary sell on fee of 50% or so for ALL young players moving under the age of 21 to ensure that the smaller clubs get a cut of the profits

I think its a done deal TBF

Did mine once, was out of footie for about 3 months, a mate did his and was put in a cast, out for a year. As far as walking its different for different people, probably about 2 weeks or so, don't rush anything though as you will regret it.

I will be gutted if he leaves so soon into his southampton career, and no doubt there will be a great deal of Cortese bashing over it if true. In reality though we all know that football clubs have no power anymore and stupidly the players hold all the aces, if he really wanted to go we couldn't stop him. All we can hope for is a large amount of cash and perhaps a loan back period ? On the flipside, if we build up a decent relationship with Arsene we could get some decent young players out of it ??

Another excellent comeback hypo, i reckon you really excel in social situations, especially the ones when you tell the customers they have brought their books back late.

Hmmm Did you get any more info Peachy ?? -
As much as everyone of us wants us to sign players and good ones or young exciting ones at that this season certainly does not hang on the balance of signing players. If anything we have more than enough quality to escape this league and TBH anything less than promotion was last season a disaster this season a catastrophe. Replacements or better players should in essence pretty much garauntee it but then why are we any different then any other team ? I am over the moon with squad strength ATM, christ even Man Utd/Chelsea/Arsenal don't have ready made replacements in every position, the only teams that can concievably think that are Real Madrid and Citeh and look at the problems they cause their every now and again.

Le Tissier Snubbed ticket for United game ?
Smirking_Saint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Matt is doing himself no favours by continually sniping away in public. Don't get me wrong, he is an absolute legend but where do you draw the line as to what ex players/ex staff etc etc get for free, how much they get etc ? I don't understand the bad blood that has risen between them but is it really so wrong IF cortese has stopped Matt getting tickets (which i doubt) after he has recieved a great deal of sh*t from MLT. -
Yeah but seeing as other peoples credibility is at zero or less it doesn't really make much difference.

Depends if you are playing it like you would have a career (as i am) or just as a Saints fan. Its a hard slog, i got offered the Manure job after the second season in the prem. I turned them down but then had a few hard seasons with Saints, no big teams want me any more but i managed to hold onto Saints job. Still, you need a goalscorer by the sounds of things mate
