  1. I don't know, perhaps, i just thought that we always looked stronger as 4-5-1 as it is more flexible. 4-4-2 is a difficult formation these days IMO and i think we have the players to make 4-5-1 work. 4-4-2 can be far too rigid, 4-5-1 allows for puncheon, lallana and Lambert to be more fluid. All IMO anyways.
  2. Its an ambush but if you go into dead eye mode you can cap them all pretty easy.
  3. I am not too upset by this, i did think he was quite a good player, but he is well past it now IMO. We need a destructive midfielder, allow Punch and Lallana to sit wide behind Rickie. And have Hammond and Schniederlin up a bit more. 4-5-1 IMO - - - - - - - - - - -Davis- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - New RB - - Fonte - - Jaidi - - Harding/Dickson - - - - - - - - - -New DM - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Hammond- - -Schniderlin - - - - - - - - Puncheon- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Lallana - - - - - - - - - - Lambert - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Would be my team anyways
  4. Meh, after a career of attractive women and satisfied ones at that i am pretty happy to settle down with the best of the bunch mate. It gets pretty difficult turning the women away after a while
  5. Congratulations, a jokey piece in the Daily Moan has solidified your opinion.
  6. Take an ibuprofen and be a man !!! It'll only hurt afterwards anyways. Be careful with the Beckham suited deal BTW, some people will think it is only for a Baj brand promotion.
  7. That why you've been pretty lonely then ?
  8. I like Heston, i like what he is doing ATM and think it is amazing, that said though, i can't really replicate anything he does in a restaurant etc. As for following recipes at home and stuff, i quite like Jamie Oliver, Ramsey is ok, until he goes too far into completely up himself mode.
  9. Is there any question marks or exclamation marks (can't remember what they are now) in the device manager ? If not have you ensured that the IDE/SATA cable is still fully attached to the back of the drive ?
  10. Did you get his name ?
  11. I would have been up for this, as i would have been up for the last two SWF matches and perhaps even a Flemming kick about or two, unfortunately i am currently a cripple until Feb.
  12. I nominate Alpine_Saint
  13. You went to a house party ? And had to buy drinks from the bar ?? Doesn't sound that great.
  14. Lol TBF, IMO it is a long shot, but we worked on Rickies fitness and he has been sensational. He is big and strong, and scored goals for Northampton. Plus he was a fan favourite. It could work, he is available on a free.
  15. I still reckon he CDAGJ as back up
  16. Probably UFO's. It seems it is pretty trendy to let off UFO's nowadays, especially during hot weather, with food and alcohol.
  17. I would be worried if they sent their players to the hospital for diagnosis, considering that it took them a year to diagnose my torn ACL, even though i went into them and said 'I am 90% sure i have torn my ACL again as i felt the pop and it feels the same as last time' Doctor - 'There is no way you would have felt the pop and i don't think its an ACL problem' 1 year later i finally see the proper consultant who says 'You have definately torn your ACL, i am a bit upset with my team for missing this' Oh, and it was the same the first time i did my ACL 5 years ago. The NHS really are sh*te. Rant over
  18. Not too bad actually mate, a little sometimes but not too bad. I usually hit my Irons pretty true. That reminds me Shaun still owes me a couple of lessons. As for the greens at the county, they were pretty good Fri, excuses IMO.
  19. Well, you clearly have an opinion all of your own regardless of his outstanding footballing pedigree. This is a player that IMO was one of the most creative (passing range) that we have had in a long long time, not only this but he was reportedly one of the very best trainers at Man Utd and would constantly push himself further and further. Everytime he pulled on an England shirt he seemed to give his all and during this world cup you could clearly see his angst that we were underperforming and one of the few that actually seemed bothered we had crashed out (Lampard laughing, smiling and simply swapping shirts will always leave a sour taste in my mouth). As for brand Beckham, fair play to him, he deserves it, he has been nothing more than a complete professional IMO both on and off the pitch and a fantastic ambassedor to the English game. Or do you think he got over 100 caps and captaincy at England and Man Utd for nothing ?
  20. Cheers for the advice everyone. The only thing i am thinking though, is if my grip etc was wrong then surely this would show through my other clubs aswell ? Not just the driver ? What i might do is keep with the woods and irons for societies etc and practice with the driver at the range and when knocking around with the lads. Where is the best place to practice putting ? I noticed that Hedge End range you have to be a member, i wonder if they would let me knock about on the one at the rose bowl ?
  21. And us. Best player of the tournament by a country mile
  22. Driver is 9.5" i think, no idea what flex. And yes the 3 wood has a slight fade but not much, all in all it flies pretty straight. I have read about head spead (giggidy) and how some drivers don't give you enough loft on lower head speeds etc, but didn't realise this would effect the slicing etc.
  23. True, i have been there, it is a natural reaction to stick a hand out and stop the ball, it just is. Luckily i convinced the ref it was behind the line and he gave the goal. Does this make me a cheat ? Yeah probably, but it is weird how in a split second event your sub concious takes control and before you realised you have f*cked up.
