  1. Your sacked :vuvu:
  2. Nigel Adkins is now at 4/1 with Sky Bet
  3. I'm just a member of that site , why would I wanna advertise it? That's like you putting "Saints Web LTD " on the end of all your posts. Was a couple of weeks back apparently , between the memorial service for Markus and the Orient game. "Emotions got the better of a lot of people" was the qoute used. Got a bit ugly , some players not happy at Pardew's actions and got a bit pushy-shovey. Downes and Murdoch sticking up for Pardew etc. The only bit I'm trying to get my head round is why it took Cortese this long to get rid of Pardew if he didn't have someone to come in straight away. The transfer request(s) from a key player(s) have been withdrawn now he's gone , there was certainly some unrest. I think Cortese obviously would rather see Pardew go than lose a couple of our best players. Even I think it's hard to believe , but Pardew was like that at West Ham - sneeky bugger
  4. Right , just got this text - forwarded to me from the lad who gets the info from the player: "Meeting just finished , Club will not rush appointment -there was a bust-up at the training ground between Pardew and Fonte and a couple of other players and coaches - Cortese turned up and the result was Pardew being sacked. Cortese told him to take his "drinking mates" with him and leave Southampton having already been warned about this last season" . Make of that what you will.
  5. The "misconduct" rumour over Pardew could be right. Our "ITK" player says Pardew had a bust up with Fonte over personal matters with a certain Mrs Fonte , and the players were not happy with what Pardew had done , the player apparently said "he deserved to go". Fonte wanted to hand in a transfer request if Pardew stayed. Although the player was unsure why Wally Downes and Stuart Murdoch went as well because of Pardew's actions , he thought it could be Cortese "freshening things up" and allowing the new man to choose him own backroom staff. He had no ideas about who the new manager could be , might come up during the meeting later. Remember don't shoot the messenger - i'm just passing it on and it might be rubbish. There is a team meeting this afternoon involving Cortese , Wilkins and the players
  6. officialsaints twitter: RT @simonpeach: If we get Hart I will consider resigning as a #SaintsFC fan. Paul Hart's agent throwing his name in the hat?
  7. Look at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Make that 3 people who will kill themselves if it goes to Ince. I wanted Curbishley before Pardew but Im not sure if he would be any better than him. O'Neill would be a dream.
  9. Totally deserves it - well done Barney!
  10. Makes Messi look shiiiiiite
  11. Kelvin Davis, Dan Harding, Jose Fonte, Danny Butterfield, Aaron Martin, Morgan Schneiderlin, Jason Puncheon, Dean Hammond, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Lee Barnard. Subs : Bartosz Bialkowski, Ryan Dickson, Guly do Prado, Radhi Jaidi, Paul Wotton, David Connolly, Alex Chamberlain. COYS WIFM
  12. Official Saints Twitter: @SFCNigel Rocket Swanies ramblings on 606 in no way constitutes a rumour! He makes up so much rubbish Im amazed people still read! #saintsfc
  13. Thought Martin dealt well with Davies/Elmander. Deserves a run in the first team. If we can just teach the defenders to use the ball better when they have time with it then we'll create more IMO.
  14. Guly Guly Guly Guly aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ....*continued*... (to the tune of Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs)
  15. Looks a cracking player , but then again Youtube makes ANY player look good (the Lee Molyneux motivational ) We need someone like him to add a bit of spark to the attack. Waigo was unpredictable and Antonio had pace and actually took on the full-back (NOTE TO PUNCHEON!!! ) I think Puncheon's problem maybe a confidence one , or that he isn't quite fit enough yet ..but also could be that he was played in Centre-Midfield for the majority of the time he was at MK Dons and wants to hold the ball a lot to find the right pass. I think he's a good player but something's not right ATM , and Pardew either needs to drop him or tell him to up his game.
  16. Apart from Howe at Bournemouth, would we be able to attract names like: - Curbishley? - Tony Mowbray ? - Keegan ? Then theres the ones that would get a mixed reaction ( Paul Jewell , Southgate , Hoddle , Phil Brown lol) Now I DON'T want Pardew out currently , but I will give him some time to turn it around. Whether Cortese will is another matter.
  17. *slashes wrists* OMG noooooooo!!!!! After 2 games we are below Rochdale with a game in hand, the worlds gonna end!!!!
  18. If he did sign , I can't see us giving him this welcome : More like this at St' Marys :
  19. By AP saying that the mourning of Markus is over ...maybe suggests there will be an applause on Saturday rather than a minutes silence? The window isn't shut yet - if we have nobody in by the end of it than by all means moan your head off , for now - be patient.
  20. Good job you're not running our club then , you'd make Pardew crawl on the floor for spare change to sign players.
  21. I can't see Agyemang would drop to League 1 to be a "Lambert Back-up" although it's a good shout. Hopefully we'll see some announcements of signings before the Orient game , but let Wednesday be dedicated to Markus.
  22. I hope the club show a video thats just as good as these two on Saturday , fantastic work
  23. It's not a "must win" . Those games come near the end of the season if we are playing for promotion etc.. We should win , a nice rest and the team back to full strength will hopefully see us win by 2 or 3 goals if not more. Bit early for a prediction I know but I'm going for 3-0 : Lambert x 2 and Connolly off the bench.
  24. Bret Pitman , wouldn't break the bank and I reckon he'd like to come here. Hat-trick today.
  25. Danny Ward (striker) who went on loan from Bolton to Swindon last season (scored 9 goals) could do a decent enough job. Also , an outside shout (and sorry if mentioned before) , but James Vaughan at Everton was loaned out twice last season to Derby and Leicester and rarely features in Everton's first X1 , we could try and get him on loan?
