Great philosophers who were pressured into exile: Diogenes the Cynic - for being cynical Aristotle - for being rude apparently Confucius - for being a smartarse Jean-Jacques Rousseau - for being too radical for Switzerland (thus presumably was joined by the rest of the planet) Karl Marx - for being a Marxist, which he denied Russell Martin - for talking bollocks and failing to grasp football Interestingly, only the last one committed actual crimes.

Dear god If we lose today I want autos in return. Please & thank you. PS I don't believe in you but don't take that as a negative. Also, win *and* autos would be nice.

What have you found?

What does that mean? That Still's tactics are dictated to him? That his team selections are not his selections given the players available?
-
Been a while since last "where are they now (posters)" thread?

Admittedly there was quite a lot to laugh about. -
Wasn't Marvin the paranoid android supposed to be the robot?
-
I'm making of it that I must have been in goal for both sides.

"Everyone"? Saintsweb is a lot smaller than I realised.

No idea, but you have to work the term "littoral zone" in somehow.

This is the debate I've long been waiting for on here - where IS southampton?
-
So without them we don't "march on"? We just sort of "mince about!"?

Doesn't he have history with a dodgy knee or some such non-essential?
-
No relation to this quote of course, but there is a touch of the hysterics about.
-
Maybe we've invented flipping for players now. So add Caspar Jander to the list.
-
Gosh you're right. You're a world-class studier of lips?
-
She's actually saying "I have my tool kit", so now I'm doubting your claim.
-
Prescient mention of Saints too - though, as it was last season, celebrating our defeat (of course).
-
Thank you for saying what we were all thinking.
-
Can someone here link to the bitter comments? I'm all in for the bitterness.
-
No, just the one. Posting it 4,200 times would be a bit of an overkill, no?
-
Could be, although I thought he was more in the habit of "breaking" news that was already broken. He struck me as a bit like a character in High Noon who's always too slow on the draw. Which is a bit health-limiting when you think about it.

Fellows had better start practising knee-high crosses then. (I know this is awful, but for some reason AA always reminds me of that Stonehenge gag in This is Spinal Tap.)

No, do go on. Schadenfreude is best enjoyed across several threads.
