Jesus delldays, all you've done this whole thread is criticise people everytime they've mentioned someone who is a bit 'outside the box'. Give it a rest mate, this thread is about players who CDAJFU, not nailed on signings.

I can see Gobern and Martin being let go.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11700_6923535,00.html Sorry if already posted but SS saying we're interested in Henderson from Colchester. Probably a load of rubbish, I'd expect us to be looking at slightly more proven talent for next season!

100% this. Bullard would be quality, but it looks as though he'll be at QPR next season
-
Alex Chamberlain vs Dag & Red. (H) The one he meant!
-
I've always thought that. Ambrose would fit into our team much better than Danns imo. He's rated much higher by CP fans as well. EDIT: Not that it matters as I've just seen on our old friend football-rumours that we're gonna sign Paul Scholes on a free

This. Lewis is turd. Kelvin is God.

Agree with you on all fronts. My girlfriend goes to Uni in Swansea so I can kill two birds with one stone by offering to visit her and take her to see the Cardiff and Swans games!
-
Me too. I'm even getting the same message when I try to access the written articles on the OS.

Just back. Great day, amazing atmosphere, superb performance, Ricky and Deano sitting on fans shoulders singing 'we are going up' at full time, Guly dancing in the exec box while we sang his name, NC looking emotional as Markus' name was chanted loud and clear. Fantastic.

Cloterill moved him from RB to CB when he arrived and they then went something like 650 mins without conceding. He's tall, strong, relatively young for a CB at 26, and wouldn't be overly expensive. Would be a cracking signing imo.

David Norris Greg Halford Liam Lawrence Craig Mickail-Smith That'll do me. Not to mention it would seriously **** off the skates!
-
1. Strachan - Cup final, 8th in the PL, hilarious little man. 2. Pardew - People will disagree with me but the bloke constructed a team from nothing with zero confidence and won a trophy. 3. Hoddle - Had us playing the best football of them all 4. Adkins - Cracking manager, but so far his achievement of 2nd was the least we expected really. His harder tests are yet to come. 5. Ball - "Give it to Le Tiss" Would be my top 5. To choose a bottom 5 is difficult because the other 15 all deserve to be in it
-
Halford would be a good partner for Fonte. Not wanting to drown our squad in too much fishiness, but if we signed Halford and Lawrence in addition to CMS, I would be well pleased. Add David Norris to that list and I reckon we're sorted!

I'm well up for a pitch invasion. The one three years ago was quality! BUT I worry about the England game in a few weeks. I want more internationals at st. marys, but what if we ruin the pitch? we'll never get another game!
-
Although I understand the sentiment, it would be kinda like we were taking the michael somewhat. If I were a Walsall fan and that happened - I'd be really ****ed off!
-
I'm excited, but I'm not THAT excited!
-
Head says Hudds, but my heart says Bournemouth. Mostly because they're **** and would be one less team to compete with next year!
-
I've taken great pleasure in taunting my skate friends with those odds
-
As Pardew always banged on about, we still have to wait for the PL boys to do their business first. We don't wanna miss out on a gem! Would be nice to have a squad ready by mid July though - for a change!
-
Best (and most likely) idea yet!
-
I agree, but if Cortese were to fork out, say, 5 million squid over the summer, don't you think he'd at least expect us to be pushing top 6? I certainly can't imagine NC and NA sitting down in their preseason meeting and deciding that we should just aim for a top half finish!

Despite not being the most technically gifted, he has been brilliant this season and could a job next season for sure. I was looking through some of the season highlights on saintsplayer last night, and the amount of times the creation of a goal scoring opportunity starts with Hammond is incredible. He does the simple things well but also has the occasional moment of class - his cross for Chaplow against Peterborough at home, and his goals against Carlisle (I think) and Peterborough away. Add to that his sheer drive and determination, and the fact that you can rely on him smash the opposing team's star player within the first 10 minutes, and I reckon he has been our unsung hero this season. At the very least he deserves a chance to prove himself before we bring in a replacement.
