I think there'll be more than 22k. I wish I could be there!
-
Doesn't he have 4 years to run on his contract?
-
Has he been linked or is this just a suggestion?
-
Connolly will finish top scorer and be player of the season
-
He also mentions that Chamberlain should be fit for the weekend
-
Thanks for the info. I doubt very much I'm gonna spend £16 on an hour long DVD!

Was listening to the radio when Fonte scored that goal. My brother and I went ****ing mental and I just remember my Dad running in to the living room from the BBQ in the garden wearing an apron and holding a spatula, screaming his head off. Amazing moment! Barnard's goal against MK was a cracking moment too. I was sat listening to the game in my room at Uni whilst my Man Utd supporting housemates were watching their game downstairs. I jumped around my room and screamed GET IN THERE out of my window, somewhat frightening some spanish tourists on a walking tour of Canterbury! Chaplow vs United was amazing just because I was sat in a room with 10 people in. 1 was me, 9 were United fans. Just after it went in and I'd finished yelling at them all, my housemate said, "yeah well Van Der Sar would've saved that shot", followed immediately by the commentator saying "No keeper would've saved that shot!". Great scenes. Best 'in the flesh' moment was probably vs Huddersfield at SMS. We were so good that day, I really thought we would go on and win the league. Also it was amazing when Lambo crashed in a goal after being off form for a while.

---------Cork-----Hammond----- De Ridder --- Chambo --- Lallana -----------Lambert------------- Imagine those 3 attacking midfielders constantly swapping positions and running at defences? Plus we have Chaplow, Holmes and Forte who can all play in those forward midfield roles and Morgan can fill in behind. It's also a formation that can very easily change into a 4-4-2. I totally can't wait for this season to start.

If everyone messages @solentsport on twitter to do this then I'm sure they'll bring it up in the next interview
-
That seems fair to me, although I think Leicester will win it. Out of interest, why have they used the full name for every team, then referred to the blue few by their nickname?
-
Decent listen, well done mate. I'm guessing the under 24 comment was in relation to our probable starting midfield? I agree about Peterborough, Coventry and Barnsley to struggle, however, if West Ham score over 100 points, I'll eat a very large hat.

"Adkins is the best manager we have had since Strachan"

wotte bout that other guy? -
All included in the ticket price. A good day all round actually, although I agree with the kids going free idea.
-
Sorry, thought you were talking about De Ridder! A rumour around the ground today was that Leroy Lita signed this morning. Heard a few different groups talking about it.
-
Nope, he didn't play. Neither did Lambert.

What Games Are You Missing This Season Then And Why!?!

I live in Gosport and if you book early on southern railway and travel at the right time you can get back to Portsmouth Harbour for £13.15 single (with a YP railcard). Not sure about getting to Soton though. Your other option is to get the 007 National Express bus into London Victoria and the Greyhound from there. Book early enough and you can get the latter for just a few quid. -

Kent or Christchurch? I'm at Kent, hope you enjoy it, Canterbury is quality! -
Interestingly a mate of mine I saw last night happened to bump into Taylor in Portsmouth yesterday. So he was definitely in the area!
-
Sounds promising. Would be a bit of a strange rumour to make up!
-
He played there against Biel
-
I genuinely think a CB is more important than a striker. We have Lambert, Guly, Forte, Barnard and Connolly with Doble in reserve. That should really be enough imo.
-
Haha I noticed this! It was like he'd just woken up after a late night bender!
-
Well tbf it hasn't needed to be. The team was in place last season and didn't need any major improvements. Having said that, many fans were highlighting we needed cover in CM, and we got Chaplow, and also that we needed more pace in the squad and lo and behold Jonathan Forte signs. It's a similar situation now, NA has highlighted that he doesn't want to overhaul the squad, but rather build on the strong foundations that we already have. Granted, Dany N'Guessen was rubbish.

Refer to my last post. I made a mistake I agree, we should trust NC and NA to get the right people in.
