Dan Harding is first choice left back and rightly so. Dan's been superb for the whole time he's been at the club, and it's up to Fox to dislodge him. He hasn't done enough to warrant this yet imo.

I've said Play-offs since the end of last season and have seen nothing to change my view. COYR

One little disagreement with the Leeds management and Beckford has an ego problem? People have no idea what went on so let's not say stuff about the bloke that we cannot prove is true or not. I stand by my comments that he would not be totally unlikely. This is another stupid 'Let's talk down to other posters with a different point of view' thread.

Just read a comment on a Burnley forum from a guy who claims to know the Rodriguez family. Apparently Burnley accepted a bid from us for Fox and Jay Rod. However when JR was told about the bid being accepted he immediately turned round and said "I'm not going, and they wouldn't be able to afford my personal terms anyway" (or words to that effect). Hence why we only got Fox. Maybe bull****, especially as earlier on in the thread another poster claims that the medical had already been completed! Thought I'd pass it on anyway.

He would be my last choice actually. From what I've seen of him I haven't been that impressed. Certainly no better than Connolly or Barnard imo. He is young though, and may benefit from being at a more stable club, and one that he loves. Still, if those better qualified than my self see him as the answer then I'm happy to go with that!

I think we have a chance of getting quite far in it this season, considering the third round draw. However the most important thing is to keep up the winning mentality in the squad to maintain our league form imo.

It annoys me when people claim they want England to lose. I don't care who it is who pulls on that shirt, they are representing our country on a world stage and for that reason they should be supported. There is a lack of patriotism in this country that is quite appalling, and one thing we could learn a lot from the Americans about. Another thing that pees me off is when people say friendlies are pointless, and then slag off the team when they come to a major tournament and it's obvious that the team need more time playing together!
