Which is precisely why he failed at Barcelona. Because they don't play that way and ZI didn't adapt his game. His inter record proves he can be a world class player on his day, but he didn't fit in at Barca. Barce needed a target man because they lacked one, they signed ZI because of his goal scoring record but like you I thought it was a surprising signing, considering ZI isn't the best technically and doesn't have the best work rate. Precisely these faults were largely exposed last season but you just have to look at the Barce 2-2 Arsenal game last season to know he can finish. World class player on his day, but he doesn't fit in to the Barce team. As for 500k a week, simply ludicrous and would be even if they were offering Messi it.

Well after scoring 57 goals in 88 for Inter you can't blame him, especially the one thing that Barce lacked was a target man. Can't see 500k a week being true, very least it's exaggerated

One of the few opinionated viewpoints of Jeremy Clarkson that has some truth in it. Although his claim about when he apparently got stopped in Switzerland because the car he drove was too loud, and the copper didn't say a word about a machine gun he had on his passenger seat I have my doubts. The Swiss have an attitude of general dislike to the car, and are extremely disciplined on the roads. If you're on the pavement and you go within 6 feet of a zebra crossing the traffic will automatically stop for you everytime like someone's hit a switch. I once got stopped by a Swiss copper about 15 years ago because "I consistently drove 4km/h over the speed limit on a stretch of road". I only got reprimanded though. Also any form of motorsport is still outlawed over there to this day.

problem is the recent FMs have had more bugs than I'm a celebrity get me out of here. They haven't had major bugs just loads of small, irritating blindingly obvious ones that surely anyone testing would immediately notice. As Steve pointed out a new game may well come out every 12 months, but the same interface will be used for each game (just with a few tweaks to make it look new) so it's been pretty poor in that respect. I seem to remember in FM09 tthis bbeing oone wwhen yyou ssearched ffor aa pplayer. TBF though from what I've experienced FM10 wasn't as bad as FM09 As someone who works for a relatively small IT company I completely agree with steve though

Unless Pompey get bought out and put on a financial footing they will continue to rack up debt and/or slide down the divisions. Where I can see this ultimately going is either they'll get promoted back to the PL in the next 2/3 years, be bought out and get away with it. Or continue in their current state, the FL attempts to bend more rules for them and it causes uproar within the other teams. Once the media latches on to it and starts broadcasting the negative PR, it's only that which will be enough for a judge to have the guts to send a football club to the wall.

sorry when did they get bought out by someone other than Chainrai? Even with wiping out a lot of the debt they are still on a completely unsustainable financial footing and are racking up more and more debt. Players in the vein of Utaka and KPB being there is just one illustration of this.
