  1. Yes he was an England U21 regular, possibly captain, and I thought he was crap to be honest. A big let down.....that miss away to WBA the season we went down was fkin unbelievable
  2. Oh yeah I remember watching on Spirtsnight and not knowing the score. My over riding memory of that, apart from being two down and coming back, was Phil Boyer getting sent off, possibly the only time in his career ?
  3. He’s a completely different player now than he was when with the U21’s.....ie better !
  4. its Tommy Forecast all over again
  5. I could cope
  6. That was a fantastic season, remember it well
  7. If we stay up we need two quality centre backs, a right back as comp/back up for Valery and two quality strikers. I would try to offload Cedric, Stephens, Hoedt, Mo, Long, Austin, Gallagher, Boufal, Forster
  8. well for the greater good, ie Southampton, good
  9. the wind must have eased off then
  10. yes of course I’ve been aware of it but years back there wasn’t as much notice taken of what was/is PC. Aside of all that it’s a disgrace that ****s even think about making up chants about gas chambers etc. They should have been removed straight away
  11. That opens up a whole new can of worms then doesn’t it? If they can use it “positively” then good luck to the authorities stopping opposing fans using it less positively
  12. It’s disgraceful and sad to hear it at St Mary’s. Unless it was my hearing I’m sure I heard the Spurs fans chanting “Yid Army” ? I thought that was a big no no if other teams supporters chanted that word yet they can?
  13. Well that shows just how bad he was, if you think that excuses his Spurs bias then knock yourself out but truth of the matter was he favoured them time and time and time again.
  14. To be honest he did that in the first ten minutes he was on. Taken his chance with both hands if Ralph’s comments after the game are anything to go by. Well done Josh
  15. He was scandalous today. How taking out Armstrong like that wasn’t a red card is beyond belief. Worse than Peter Walton a few years back against Leeds and I still maintain he was corrupt that day
  16. Yes I think anything out of tomorrow will be a bonus to be honest.
  17. Can you be more specfic than just eh ? What aren’t you understanding ?
  18. Because whenever there is a tragedy the two sets of supporters always stand side by side. Some of those who died came from families with Everton supporters. There is no way the people of Liverpool would turn on other people from the city over something as terrible as that. They are rivals, of course they are, but there isn’t a hatred like us and Pompey or Manchester and Liverpool.
  19. They were, which just goes to prove despite their whinging that the song has absolutely nothing to do with the Hillsborough tragedy.
  20. Bye then
  21. are you sure it was 3853 minutes? I had it as 3851...........you need to get out more and before you disappear up your own arse with facts and figures will you stop putting words in my mouth and telling me what I think !! I never said he hadn’t gotten a lot of game time and yes pal I did watch us during that time so get back to your facts and figures and let me know before Ralph got hold of him how many successful tackles he made, his many square, safe passes he made and how many of his free kicks were awful ?
  22. where did I say he was bad? Where am I blaming the player? Are you disputing this is the first manager who has realised his potential and turned it into something worthwhile? you concede he didn’t set the world alight under Pelligrino but let’s be honest he didn’t set the world alight under the others bar the odd few games, this is the first time he has been consistent over a decent spell if time.’ you can dispute the fact that Poch and Koeman eventually dropped him to the bench all you like but they did, in fact JWP almost became Koeman’s standard first change in his second season here.
  23. Its all very well being a wise ass now but the facts speak for themselves. Poch, Koeman, and the three disasters after them all picked JWP, all gave him significant game time and all ended up benching him eventually. The truth of the matter is Ralph is the only manager who has actually improved him significantly. He has been turned into a first name on the team sheet kind of player and quite frankly it’s about time he stepped up. Long may it continue
  24. Sometimes you can take heart from a defeat. This is one of them. More confident that we will get more points than Cardiff to stay up than I was this time last week
  25. Is this the same Forster that some people unbelievably think should be given another chance in the first team ?
