  1. Yeah I agree, its not really his fault as he has been shoe horned into different positions of late. Having said that the option to revert to type has always been there with JWP, hopefully Ralph has more about him than to let that happen again.
  2. Looks like the Hammers statement is simply repeating Southampton’s objection. Well done to the Premier League actually considering supporters for a change.
  3. Sorry but he’s always been average. Some on here tried to build him up as something special for a while but his weaknesses have always outnumbered his strengths, ie heading, marking, reading the game as obvious weaknesses whilst looking comfortable on the ball in the midfield area is the biggest strength I can think of. If not considering him good enough equates to being a boo boy then guilty as charged.
  4. As you say. I always thought the women’s Cup Final was the May Bank Holiday Monday. What moron decided to schedule it against Premier League matches ?
  5. well they can have him back then
  6. thanks very much for this
  7. They have been total dross
  8. To be honest I would rather see what this Alfie Jones is like if we find ourselves this short again. He can’t be any worse surely
  9. Compared to some if what we’ve got he is BUT this highlights we need at least two centre backs bought in for next season.
  10. why ? Oh oh yeah it winds up the cherry pip fans doesn’t it !
  11. define professional
  12. Stephens off - that’s gotta be the end for this guy surely?
  13. This is the second match in a row JWP has been shoe horned into the side. To be fair losing Valery to illness and Vestergaard weren’t ideal.
  14. Didnt RH say McCarthy had a small injury problem during the week ?
  15. Lawrie lives in Romsey
  16. Sunderland home to the blue few on 27 April. That will sort things out.
  17. If Brighton lose at home to Cardiff they deserve to go. I mean who the hell loses at home to Cardi........oh
  18. Brighton kind of slipped under the radar for me. I was looking at Burnley’s remaining fixtures after the Cardiff game as I’m not sure they will get anymore points. But for Burnley before Saturday now read Brighton before Tuesday. Fail to beat Cardiff and they might beat Newcastle but I can’t see them get anything against the other three.
  19. That “big lump” as you so eloquently put it had a great game against Wolves and has been pretty impressive since his error away to Cardiff last December.
  20. Good to see Sims get a start but if that happens again I hope Romeu gets the start as JWP is not suited to that role next to PEH. I can see why Ralph went with JWP after his recent goals etc but he was bloody awful until Romeu came on and he moved into a more attacking role.
  21. oh well that’s it then, doomed
  22. So they are as good as safe, another team not fully focused when we play them.....hopefully
  23. Someone rates this Wilson bloke, **** knows why !
  24. Pretty fair summing up really and shows just how important Saturdays game at Burnley is. Anything other than a home win sees them in trouble too with those fuxtures left.
  25. I didn’t want Liverpool to win it before Friday night because of Van ****, Lallana, Lovren and Klippity. Now I’m adding every fkin pundit who creamed themselves over Liverpool (with the exception of Matt and Gary Neville) esp bloody Carragher. I don’t particularly care about the rough deal we seem to get from pundits anymore as I think every team who isn’t top 6 does when they play one of them BUT that ****fest on Sky followed up by MOTD was beyond the normal arse licking levels. If we hadn’t over committed at that corner and the ball fell kindly for them I believe we would have held out for a point. They were getting increasingly desperate at that stage. Bastards
