  1. Less than £45,000 short of the million with bucket collections still to add. Would be nice if the club made up that shortfall......or the players had a whip round.....
  2. Yeah exactly. Ralph warned us there would be changes to give squad players the chance to impress. Not a big surprise that by and large they didnt. Ralph had to look at Forster if only to see if he is good enough to be No. 2 next season, that gives the club the option of shifting either him or McCarthy. I would hope he has made up his mind about Stephens. A few quotes in the Echo today about Yoshida and Vestergaard being unavailable and resrticting choice kind of reads to me like he knows Jack is not a long term solution. I would hope the club will try to cut its losses on Moi, hes not up to it clearly. If they could get rid of Moi, Stephens, Austin, Gallagher, Boufal, Hoedt, Cedric, Forster or McCarthy and possibly Reed that would be some great work but I fear the takers wont be queueing around St Marys for any of them.
  3. He’s only playing because Vestergaard and Yoshida are out. Play a kid next week against Huddersfield as it’s cruel to keep picking him, his confidence must be shot to ******
  4. Phil Thompson - “bad defending by Jack Stephens.....3-0” says it all
  5. Interesting to see the newly self proclaimed Elite on the South Coast are in actual fact the bottom south coast team
  6. I hope he doesnt feel like he's failed by having to miss out on Day 5 as nothing could be further from the truth. His own health however is the most important thing and I hope for his sake he can complete the last two days, or the last one in Southampton at least.
  7. I’m sure he is. I hope for his sake if he plays he has a great game no matter what the score. Mentally he must be in a much better place than the last time he played for the first team. Its unfortunate for Forster however that he will have Stephens in front of him. I thought Yoshida was ill last week and fully expected him to be back for Saturday.
  8. well they are now 2 down so.......
  9. yeah just a bit.
  10. Dont bother, he’s full of it. The thought of a whole summer of this crap.....I’ve put him on ignore to spare myself
  11. Why do sone people want to see Romeu gone ? I don’t get it.
  12. Probably depends on two things, namely which West Ham turn up and the presence of Stephens in the starting line up
  13. You do talk some ******** dont you ? You do realise we, under RH, have taken 29 points out of 20 games so if that had been repeated over a full season we would have gained somewhere between 56 - 60 points. Thats hardly because of poor performance of rivals
  14. Well I assumed the bench had told them Cardiff were losing so even if they levelled late on at Fulham the point we had was still good enough to ensure we would stay up (given the almighty goal difference advantage) For people to start booing was, to say the least, ignorant given the whole point of the season once RH came in was to keep the club in the Premier League after Hughes' pathetic 9 point haul.
  15. He did exceptionally well to win the ball in the area which led to Targett’s goal. To be honest it’s only when watching the game back - both this one and Wolves the other week that I notice some of the work he does, he’s a clever player with a football brain. My only concern is his fitness. Whether you like him or not we are stuck with him.
  16. they do realise they have beaten us just the once since they came up don’t they ? I mean fkin hell
  17. their forum......what the **** ? Are they for real ?
  18. Can we just not have to play Jack Stephens again. Absolute fkin nightmare of a defender. He’s no Ollie Lancashire I’ll grant you but he’s no Premier League defender either.
  19. Thats because they have an inbuilt inferiority complex.
  20. think of it this way, two teams have to get a result out of unlikely games (Brighton with Arsenal or Man City and that’s providing they beat Newcastle. Cardiff with Man Utd away and that’s IF they win the next two) and that’s without us picking up anymore points. One might do something, the chances of both is remote and the chance of all three things happening..... I’m always a pessimist - that way you can’t be disappointed - but even I can’t convince myself we will go down
  21. well yeah true but nobody else has scored 3 in 4 games so while he’s finally found form and confidence keep him in.
  22. Not sure why everyone wants to drop Long for Ings. RH said a couple of weeks ago they could play together, well here’s a good chance to test that out.
  23. must be 4-3-3.......mustn’t it ?
