Maybe I have mis-understood this January transfer window. The club have stated they are aware of who their summer targets are to take the club on again. Any January transfer business was always going to be about adding some squad strength wasnt it ? Totally agree, this has been going on since around last June, ok I can understand that Ronald wanted a decent look at him but to leave it so long doesnt exactly give the guy an overwhelming desire to be loyal to Southampton I wouldnt think.

Pochettino improved a fair few players when he was here, Steven Davis and Jay Rod the most obvious two I can think of. Koeman has just taken into onto a whole different level, nobody has gone backwards or not improved that I can see.

Yes and that's why people shouldn't be upset if we don't do much in this transfer window. I think he said something about identified players to take us to the next level !! Any more signings we do make before this window shuts I would think would be loan signings probably just to act as cover, unless a bargain comes along, which they rarely do in January.
