I think you have a touch of rose coloured glasses where Mr Fox is concerned. I seem to remember when we signed him the Burnley fans were split pretty much the same we Saints fans seem to be in so far as the common opinion was "great going forward, not so hot defensively". I might be wrong but Burnley haven't got a Lallana who played in front of Fox have they ? I havent seen a great deal of evidence of him marking 2 players at once.....one would be nice He has had some very good games for us, but he has also had some pretty horrendous ones. Doncaster away has been mentioned, I will gladly add Bristol City away to that. Yet away to Palace he was excellent.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that full back - both sides - is our weakest area, defensively. Going forward, fine, no problem, but in the premiership they are going to need to defend a hell of a lot better than at present.

Going by their tweets it seems a few of the players have gone out today for round two, Jos being one of them. Perhaps he's a bit lightweight, feels a bit fragile and doesnt want to let on to the others and as a result isnt in the mood to be "friendly" to a group of excitable young ladies !!!

The greatest achievement for me this season is that we were in the top two for the entire season. That in itself is remarkable.
