I fail to understand why fellow Saints fans are described as "sad" and "utter mongs" for queueing up on a Sunday lunchtime to buy the new shirt on launch day. WTF is wrong with some people on here, what are they doing wrong by wanting it today ? Not like everyone has skipped work to rush down and buy it is it ? The mings are the people who criticise on here, not the people in that queue.

You cannot be serious ? Just think through what you are talking about here - a football shirt that will only be worn for ONE year ffs !! I dont particulalry like the shirt, its ok but not brilliant, but to say its come out to undermine the fan base is ridiculous.
-
Its strange that the marketing photo shows players stood side by side in alternate kits thus creating a red and white stripe look. Hey why didnt you go one better and have ONE shirt with red and white stripes to create the Southampton look ?
-
Yep, both home and away or Liverpool of the late 80's. Not very Southampton like unfiortunately

For all those people thinking we should sign all these Rangers players I have two words - NEIL McCANN -
I was ready to go to this.......but now I think I will wait for Ajax. Pity but £25 is ridiculous for that.

I would rather have Pete Best than Leon Best

Yeah I'm not sure thats gonna pull her away from the team that just won The Champions League I would go for one of the later friendlies against Ajax or Udinese.

I guess so, I wonder if it works the other way. I cant go to the Wigan game so if I give my ticket to my nephew to go with my old man will there be a refund ? I think I already know the answer to that one
-
So what happens when a concession ticket holder cannot go and gives their ticket to an adult son/daughter/pearent ? When the light goes amber and steward can see the person is not over 65 or under 18 or whatever, do they deny them entrance ?

Me too, I guess this is a touch of humour by Mr The Kraken

Was hoping for a home game first as I cant make the 25th but if I could pick a game to miss then Wigan would have been top of my list. Thank God Man Utd is the following week, the other way around and I would have been very peed off.

thats their half time entertainment sorted out too then

You have made very sound comments up to a point. I think one of the problems with Harry was his continual use, in interviews, of referring to Saints as "they" when as manager surely it should be "we". What message does that send out for a start ? We hear this continual claptrap about his man management skills. Maybe if he likes a player but ask the ones he doesnt like - ask yourself how a man manager can continually refer to you and your team mates as "they" ! We had a chance, even on the last day of staying up. A win against Man Utd who were looking to the Cup Final the following week and we were ok. United were not interested, we went one up and then instead of going on we just blew up and the last 25 miniutes were played with no spirit and no hope. Old Saggy chops just stood there, arms folded and watched. He left out Kevin Phillips that day, a move I will never ever if I live to be 100, understand. He came to us simply to put 2 fingers up to Mandric. When they kissed and made up he was off like a shot. This time he has well and truly shot himself in the foot. Excellent !

Cannot stand him, I dont know what it is about him but yeah, you have summed it up pretty well there. Thing is he is better now than he was a few years back but its still bloody painful listening to the ****.

No because it will increase the parachute payments clubs get when relegated as well.

If West Ham lose their first 3 or 4 games then I would say thats a pretty good shout.
-
Oh believe it, Sky Sports news are all over this - they wouldnt get it that wrong, not this big a story anyway. I was so looking forward to his return to St Marys with Spurs too.....typical fkin Redknapp

Actually apart from Tottenham and probably Sunderland the bottom 11 looks about right, but not in that order obviously. -

Reading still above us then -
Oh right, thanks very much for that. Just when I had gotten used to getting a bigger size than I actually am due to Umbro's less than generous use of material too
