Exactly......why dont they just show us what the bloody thing will look like ? Surely they arent going to keep it a closely guarded secret up until 20 July, thats just crazy and begs the question what kit will they play pre season friendlies in that come before 20 July, ie in Switzerland ?

Totally agree with all that. Southampton FC and its continued rise back to the Premiership is more important than one player, and if that money realises the vision sooner then I'm all for it.

Oh I think you can bank on it. NC will not accept 50% of a fee then wait for 50 appearneces for another bit and an England cap for the rest. Remember Cortese is a proper businessman, he doesnt do this football version of business where half a fee is based on ifs, buts and maybe's !

For a start skinning someone is not the sign of wether a player has a brain or not. I nominate one Matthew Le Tissier as evidence of that, so I fail to see what the skinning or not of O'Shea etc has to do with anything. You can laugh as much as you like but nothing will convionce me that Alex is not a more intelligent player than Theo. But niether those of us who believe he is or those who believe he isnt are going to know for a few years yet so its all personal opinion at present. Lets revisit this thread in say 2016 to find out who was right :-)

I have emailed the club and asked if the supporters who are in this 4 year age pocket could be ring fenced and treated as pensioners, the 65 rule applying to new season ticket holders only. Probably wont do any good but i feel it is unfair, a price increase of that magnitude is a little over the top. I am nowhere near 61 by the way !! :-)

It seems more than coincidence that Cardiff have choked at the end of the season for the past 3 years, Wolves did the same when Jones was there and as has been said by Hoddle's love child we would have gone down that season Lowe put him on "leave" to fight his ridiculous charges. I think Jones is an ok manager, no more than that. He never inspires much confidence when interviewed and you just wonder if thats the case in the dressing room too.

If I was a Huddersfield fan I would be bloody fuming. How the hell can you play one striker (and a crap one at that) up on his own against a team that everybody knows cannot defend ? You have to play 2 strikers against them, Clark has been very naieve here i think. Championship teams will tear this lot to shreds and without MS up front they could well be the whipping boys of the league. I feel sorry for the Huddersfield fans but oh boy Lee, you screwed that up good and proper.
