Thats the bit I do agree with him on. As of now its 2nd against 4th, TV always loves local derbies. I am amazed its not been picked for tv yet the Sheff Weds game has !! Strange.

The irony is Daren that most of those who slag off Lawrie come out with some incredible, outlandish statements on this forum when talking about Cortese, Adkins, the players. Much of it is based in ignorance and speculation and they contribute nothing to the club.....oh they might cheer when a player having a bad game gets taken off though........yet a man who was our most successful manager, a fact nobody can dispute, is treated like dirt from behind the safety of a keyboard. Pathetic.

The whole thing was certainly filmed.....and i cant think of any other reason they were so twitchy about photos being taken.

Whilst people continually slag Lawrie off and suggest he is money orientated its rather interesting that his dis-like for Lowe was the reason he turned the offer down when there was still the opportunity to be paid for his "job" !

It was disallowed because David Armstrong was about 2 inches offside nowhere near the ball !! One of the most annoying and ridiculous decisions of many over the years. At least Armstrong made amends by scoring the winner :-)

He is always painfully slow with goal kicks. He arses about so much taking them its painful. Doesnt matter if we are 4 nil up or 4 nil down, sometimes kelvin is in his own little world with that ball at his feet.

Not even that, the charter is for 2010 - 2011, in other words this season ! It even clearly states on the first page "10-11 Season", which is a clue I believe. Hands up who has a Season Ticket for this season ? That'll be about 12,000 then......

Still has to put them away though !! I can see your logic, sort of, but to take it further you can get into which forwards have the bottle to take penalties against ones who dont, and does having the guts to take a penalty make them a better striker than one who bottles it etc etc

The reporter who put his name to this article, Alex Montgomery, was for many years a journalist on The Sun. Back in Lawrie's days he was always the guy who covered our matches and got many many exclusives about the Saints - new signings etc etc. I am not suggesting that Lawrie is behind this story, I would like to believe he would never do that, but I am just putting some Alex Montgomery facts out there for you !
