Totally agree. We must wait and see what happens but i will be very annoyed if we get some no mark that nobody has ever heard of just to sit on the bench and act as cover when, for a not considerable sum of money, we could have gotten a quality player in on loan. A quality player who could be the difference between staying in this league or getting out of it.

Well if the loan window closes tomorrow we wont have long to wait to find out either way......thankfully. Will be well ****ed off if we dont bring a decent midfield player in.

So if he is on £15k and thats what he wants to come here for 10 weeks that would see us through to the play offs (if needed) that would cost £150k.............surely if it gives us a better chance of promotion that is a bargain. Dont see the point in negotiating for next season. If we dont go up he wont come and any haggling over a permanent deal's terms becomes irrelevant so could wait until the season's end.

Absolutely ridiculous. It is a league rule that if you have 3 or more players called up you can postpone a game. Saints would have no option to object, it is a rule. As for Plymouth's responsibility to sign players available during the season - so if Guly, Fonte and Lallana for instance are called up you wouldnt want our game called off then ? Plymouth have no money, are in administration. I would think getting any player from anywhere is difficult enough. There are other teams and circumstances apart from Southampton you know.

Well Brian Howard played the last 5 mins for Reading in the FA Cup today but has only played 16 League games for them this season so he is by no means a regular.....and he is obviously not out injured. He would do :-)

Back in the Keegan era he would always be outside The Dell and come and stand at the back of the Lower West Stand for the last 10 minutes when they opened the gates. Was always on the same train as me coming back. He is supposedly an eccentric who is quite well off.
