  1. Cheers all. Hamster, I raised many a drink last night to Mrs Hamster, just read your post again and it's made me smile again, good on ya Now what you should do is take her on a 2 week cruise
  2. Can I just add one more thing, if you're a couple then BOTH of you deal with the paperwork, bills, insurance, pensions etc, my mum dealt with everything and my dad is completely lost with it all paperwork coming out of his ears and he doesn't know what to do here there or anywhere, just a tip Cheers Ponty, that's life ya know, happens to everyone at some point losing parents. I admit I didn't expect to be 26 but that's the way it goes, some people younger lose their parents, life's harsh at times.
  3. Unfortunately not for me, I thought with my mum we'd get to the stage where she was unconcious and we could speak to her etc, yet it never happened, went too too quickly. My mum was diagnosed with lung cancer in November, turns out she had had it for 3 years undetected (got old NHS) and it had spread, nothing they could do and gave her til the end of February. On Sunday 10th Jan 2010 my mum got taken in to hospital, she seemed alright sat up in her bed, then at 2:15am the morning of Weds 13th we had a call from the hospital saying to go up because my mum had deteriorated. We got up the hospital just before 3am and she had slipped off. Her birthday was 19th Jan and her funerals this Friday. Went and saw her today at the Chapel, still hasn't kicked in really, very strange place. Cancer is a very very nasty illness, and I feel for anyone who has to go through it, I still have my Uncle yet to go with terminal lung cancer, so the ride isn't over yet. Sorry for going on, at least someone has had good news on the cancer side, very much congratulations to you and Mrs Hamster x x
  4. I've just been to see my mum, going again tomorrow and then that's it

  14. Can I just add, the Mike Williamson transfer saga is funny as fock.
  15. Grumpy Grant is refusing to answer any more questions about what is going on at Pompey - because he doesn't know the answers. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2820699/Still-loving-this-job-Avram.html
  16. OMG, Roy Keane in todays Echo speaking nicely about us! Shocking stuff.
  17. Was thinking about putting this in The Lounge, but didn't know how many of you frequent it. Been a bad year so far. I'm sure many on here knew John or at least seen him about in his short shorts. RIP fella. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4863490.Pensioner_killed_in_accident_is_named/
  18. +1.
  19. George Romero would have done a better job than that.
  20. Not too early though.
  21. Final 28th March. "MK Dons assistant boss Karl Robinson has blasted Saints for their celebrations after last nights game. Paul Ince's right hand man was angered by the scenes between the players and supporters." Grow up you c**t.
  22. I knew it would be somewhere you hadn't looked yet.
  23. Kevin Lisbie told the Echo last night that a permanent transfer to Saints would appeal to him. Asked if he would be interested in joining Saints, Lisbie said "Very much so. If they (Saints) are interested I am only on loan at Colchester, so obviously anything is possible".
  24. Bullseye in Butts Road 200%, bit late now though.
