Putting Puel in the same category as MP is ridiculous. We were never involved in any sort of relegation battle, although with the squad of players, it could’ve been a possibility, as we found out. We overachieved with Puel, only a fool would say otherwise.

I think they missed out on a number of players that came here instead.

I would say that on the other hand, our team deserves to be welcomed on the pitch by our own fans. Maybe we can promise them a guard of honour at the end of the match, knowing full well that a pitch invasion would render such a plan almost impossible...

I'm sure Stoke would prefer Swansea to go down anyway rather than us. We're a bigger club and we would be more of a threat to their promotion chances.
