  1. This team needs major surgery.
  2. At least we’re getting early balls in to Gabbi.
  3. Sims on at half time for Tadic
  4. We’re defending far too deep in my opinion. Every time they get the ball we just seem to retreat. Contrast with Wigan’s relatively high line.
  5. They’re targeting Cedric, and no surprise because he’s crap.
  6. Love that reaction from Hughes
  7. Tadic, eurgh
  8. None whatsoever, in fact nobody in my family was even born in Hampshire, including myself (although I've lived here since the age of 1). Neither of my parents are originally from the area but both moved to Southampton or nearby in childhood and met later on. My Dad was the first to support Saints but I'll be ensuring any of my children support Saints if and when that time comes. My family on both sides have been a bit nomadic. To be honest even I intend to move away from the area in the near future.
  9. Both Puel and Pellegrino beat West Ham The Puel win in particular was one of our best away performances. Hopefully we'll see a repeat in endeavour, spirit and determination.
  10. We have to beat West Ham, no ifs, no buts. Thankfully, Hughes has come out and said as much, which is refreshing from the 'a draw is as good as a win' approach.
  11. Huddersfield losing is good news for us - Palace have a pretty easy set of fixtures, Huddersfield have a nasty set and will get dragged back down. I'd love it if Bournemouth got sucked back into the battle as well.
  12. And they get paid for this.
  13. Some serious questions have to be asked of the recruitment for hiring Pellegrino in the first place. And that he wasn't sacked earlier!
  14. We've just got to hope that we can do enough now in the games we've got left. Effectively Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City are free hits, so that leaves us needing three wins from West Ham, Bournemouth, Swansea, Leicester and Everton.

  16. Not working on my laptop on Chrome but switched to a different browser and it worked.
  17. First (permanent) Saints manager to have played at St Mary's before (Dennis Wise and Jason Dodd did but they were only caretakers). Mark Hughes played for Blackburn in 2001.
  18. They've announced the new badge... although they've got the date wrong, the current club was only founded 6 years ago? Someone needs to mock one up and correct it
  19. Wilshere isn't good enough, I'd rather have JWP in there. Welbeck too, Christ almighty.
  20. @mrandrewmoon 1m1 minute ago #Pompey boss Kenny Jackett told me today he hasn't had extensive chats about the budget for next season yet, but he ISN'T expecting an increase That news won't go down with the blue phew...
  21. It'll be interesting to see how Paul Cook approaches the game. I can't see them parking the bus for 90 minutes like they did against Man City, and we're probably the weakest opponent they've faced thus far, apart from Bournemouth who named a weakened team.
  22. I think he'll be our manager whatever happens and whatever league we're in next season.
  23. Even if we do go down, I'd trust Mark Hughes to take us back up again.
  24. I certainly don’t think this will be a walkover at all. We could be playing them again next season.
  25. Not happy with that interview at all. Not once did he mention about how he and the players will learn for the future. Unacceptable.
