  1. Right team selection today. I’d have put Pied in for Cedric though.
  2. Adkins has really got Hull playing now. Two big results against top sides and now romping to a comfortable home win. But he's a poor manager apparently...
  3. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/apr/07/sporting-lisbon-president-suspends-19-players-after-social-media-spat?CMP=twt_gu&__twitter_impression=true Things could be worse...
  4. Newcastle 1-0 up. Rafa's got them playing well.
  5. It's embarrassing that we're relying on Brighton and Bournemouth. How far we have fallen.
  6. Davis has actually chipped in with the odd goal from midfield, so he's not that bad an option. He shouldn't play the whole game, but I'd start him for sure. I'd like to see JWP too.
  7. I was just thinking the same thing this morning. That match had some dodgy referee decisions in it too...
  8. I would still expect them to rest players for this match. It's Newcastle who will perhaps be wanting things to remain competitive, as they play them in the league next weekend.
  9. It'll be interesting to see what side Arsenal put out. They're at full strength tonight, so will Wenger change things around and name a few of the youngsters?
  10. Why mention the 5-0 then, that was against our reserve side! Considering they are playing tonight, they may very well prioritise the Europa League match over Sunday's fixture.
  11. Those games in Italy yesterday kicked off early to ensure they wouldn’t clash with the Champions League. Midweek games in this county never kick off at 6pm, the police would never allow it as it’s rush hour.
  12. That really would be great news. The only problem is that Wilson would probably take over and that concerns me.
  13. I'm sure, given that we are, in terms of fanbase, the biggest club in the region, the Premier League and Sky would want us to stay in the league, I'm sure our games attract more viewers than Brighton or Bournemouth.
  14. Eddie Howe is very comfortable, but take him out of his comfort zone and he's bang average. He knows he'll never get the sack at Bournemouth.
  15. Yoshida's decent enough at this level. But, for a club that finished 6th only two seasons ago (!!!), 'decent' just doesn't cut it. Presumably we bought Hoedt in the hope that he would develop into the VVD type, and he's still young enough to do so.
  16. I honestly think he'd do very well in a defensive midfield role.
  17. I'd be quite content with Hughes in all honesty. Of course, we could always go for the guy who got us promoted last time
  18. It really would be the low point of the season if they beat us. Still, for them it'll be like winning the Champions League.
  19. Puel wasn't crap, Pellegrino obviously was, let's not write off Hughes after one league game.
  20. I'd be up for some sort of organised protest vote. Would have to make sure the twitter mob were on board too, and all the other fansites.
  21. Our first game back in the PL was against Man City, so it's kind of fitting that they should relegate us. And talking of comparisons of 2005, I'm really not looking forward to the 4-1 defeat against Bournemouth...
  22. Exactly, this isn't just something that has happened naturally, the fall has been spectacular, and heads should roll.
  23. Recruitment, in my opinion, is the number one issue why we're in this mess. For that reason, he simply has to go. I don't really trust Les to replace him with anyone better though.
