Outside of the Europa League spots and we attracted a manager of Koeman's calibre. With European football, some of the very best managers in the world would be knocking on our door. If he does go, we'll get someone in that's better and the club will continue to grow. If Koeman doesn't want to be a part of that then it is his loss, not ours. I hope Koeman stays but the future is bright whatever happens.

We could easily match £6M a year Everton are offering. We should give him a pay rise and offer a big bonus if we qualify for the Champions League. We all know that we are much better placed than Everton to get to the Top 4 this season.

As I mentioned in the other thread, Pochettino was there looking at a Dutch striker. A journo on Twitter said it was Vincent Janssen.

It is Vitesse with the close links to Chelsea I believe. I think a couple of their players played at St Mary's against us in July

We will find out another potential opponent from Italy soon. Juventus are 10 minutes away from winning the Coppa Italia so that means Sassuolo would gain a spot. AC Milan must win to get that spot but it looks like that won't be happening.

Is any club interested in Tadic? He might want out but if their are no suitors then he'll have to stay put. Juanmi, well that has come as a surprise! Pelle - getting on a bit, and in both seasons he has had poor spells. He's a good striker but we will need someone more consistent. Mané and Wanyama are not surprising either. Wanyama will go for less given his contract situation but I just hope we refuse to sell him to Tottenham. He can go to any club he chooses, just not them. I think Mané is too inconsistent and wherever he goes he will be a massive flop. Sell for £30M and bring in someone better for half the price. I'm more worried about losing Koeman tbh. The club has shown that we can replace players who leave.

The other thing is I want to see West Ham in Europe. I think they could really push on next season so hopefully having a few extra matches could hinder them like it could hinder us.

Apparently Everton scouts were keenly tracking Webster too. The Ipswich fans seem very happy with the transfer deal, so perhaps McInnes has sold a bit too early. I wonder if they will spend the money wisely, like improving the academy facilities, or removing the fat from the pipes...? Or will it be spent on another mercenary looking for one last payday?
