  1. BBC iplayer has last nights football league cup show... Not sure there are extended highlights worth watching out there
  2. It's a free trip into Europe for winning. All for it provided we don't risk the class players like Gaston against dirty Leeds...
  3. In no universe is Harding ever going to be worth half a million quid again, it's a similar scale to spending something like £14m on fletcher or what ever was spent on Jarvis (just with a lower standard of player). I assume the original intent was to buy a new left back, but things didn't quite work out for what ever reason. We can make do for now as having Harding at the moment would leave us in exactly the same position but with 3 senior left backs who are for the scrap heap instead of two.
  4. When you are offered half a million for someone who is know where near premier league standard and struggled in the champ, squad depth means nothing. We can get by with Clyne at LB and Richardson at RB or a variety of other combinations till jan then sack Fox back off to Burnley and get a couple of people in who are actually good enough.
  5. Thought Fox was building him self up for that prestigious role
  6. Really good first goal, rubbish pen.
  7. Poo I was hoping he would be fit for the bench
  8. Abandon Chaplow, stick Cork on the bench and keep fonte with maya and it'll be game on!
  9. Not fit or not registered yet at a guess...
  10. Can't imagine too many people take the Lallana making Messi look ****e too seriously...
  11. Humm guessing its league loyalty for the big games then for a few more weeks till its all leveled out a bit... No idea really was just providing some speculation to the magical black hole that is the ticket office
  12. They are... Having 2 of Arsenal, City and Everton on your account is more points as a season ticket holder than only going to one of them. Just not sticking up massive numbers because Stevenage didn't attribute points to the account and the Wednesday game hasn't happened yet (so I doubt the system could handle people buying a Wednesday ticket to then be eligible for West Ham, ticket office breaks at the slightest push). Should be alright buying on Thursday though
  13. He's still so wonderfully hit and miss, if he didn't have that attitude problem that has really hampered his reputation he would be a fan favourite because everyone would enjoy the highs and lows of his performances. (sort of like how everyone seems to think De Ridder is good, despite some monumentally bad performances) He's quick, can run with the ball, put in some decent balls and get on the end of some good play to score. On the other hand he can also be naff and trip over the ball, run into dead ends, loose possession, then not try to get it back and waste good moves with tame shots/passes. He would be loads of fun to watch if he wasn't horrible to listen too and hadn't "had that episode" that leaves a sour taste with every mention of him. I will always wonder how he goes from a world class game like against United to a League 1 performance against Arsenal in the space of two weeks...
  14. Shame, really liked him and gave a brilliant performance away at Palace last year but football is football and he could do a really decent job for a champ team instead of being 3rd choice with us.
  15. Have to start Gazza, Boruc has had the summer off by the looks of things and will probably need a couple of weeks to get back into the flow. Plus Gazza put in a good shift against Villa
  16. The typical football fan injury of jumping with your shin pressed up to the seat in front, I was very surprised to see it yesterday and could only have been from Clyne's goal. This made the most difference! Had a perfect view of all 5 goals and got to watch Fox coast the game first half (instead of second) to get rightful subbed.
  17. I have a very large gash on my leg from hitting the seat in front of me from Clynes goal! Couldn't believe he got his first goal for us, jumped the barrier and ran into the crowd. Top lad! Pleased with how the side looked when Fox got a chair thrown at him as that seemed to clear up a lot of the problems we have been having. Villa are relegation material after that, lots of very arrogant fans that deserve to be put in their place considering how poor they were (some alright fans too but most of them were very embarrassing). Comedy highlight of the day was seeing a Pomp fan giving us abuse on the underground escalators as kings cross, needed a quiet pat on the back for embarrassing him self in public like that.
  18. At least 20 so far, he's tearing the prem up with intelligent play, brilliant to watch

    Yoshida

He's better than jos, also a lot better than fonte! He looked good on the ball, picked a hoof out well and made some blinding tackles! Quality signing, no idea why he wasn't signed up and starting against city as he was one of the players to really show a difference between us and villa (who look like relegation material)

    Gazzaniga

What more can you say? He made a brilliant save that Kelvin would have let in and claimed a couple of corners. For 1m and getting rid of the worst keeper of all time he should now play every game of the season. Gazza is noticeably better than kelvin and we really profited from it!
  21. Clyne, made fox look an absolute tit. All are full back problems are sorted with clyne at lb and Richardson at RBI! Plus clyne scored an excellent finish to round off a great team performance
  22. Hope he plays tomorrow, no club pays over a million for another Bart, we could have kept Bart for that money.... Kelvin has made some really amateurish mistakes so needs some competition at any rate, the Stevenage game showed Gazza to be at least competent in goal (more than Forecast and the end of Bart) so it probably is worth a punt on the back of Kelvins shocker last weekend.
  23. Well L1 is what really kicked off the mega interest in football (from just a fan to, I know Rochdale away on a Tuesday night is more sensible than anything else in the entire world ethos) Then again if we weren't bottom on nil points the prem would look better
  24. Quite interesting, sort of gets across the point that a few of our players aren't sticking to the game plan properly. Do like the stat that we have played the least amount of long ball in the league
