  1. Wow! First time in a while Lawro has been alright about us... Sticking for another 4-1 though
  2. Cool, just hope trains are running new years day Also does this mean Liverpool away hasn't/wont be moved?! That would be even better
  3. If you look as actual as a percentage of the maximum we look to be in a lot better position... Statistics can be used to prove anything, 83% of people know that. My point is we messed up against Wigan, changing to 4-4-2 and having no real game changes on the bench ruined it, but we have learnt and will grow from it. I see his methodology for setting the min and max but it doesn't work as well for Europa league teams like Everton who beat United. The projections of what should be achieved are a bit flakey with our min being 6 and our max being 7 mean there is too limited room for us to achieve. Also sticking to my guns that West Ham are up for a thrashing tomorrow and will show up how much they still are in the relegation dog fight despite having the simplest start to the season.
  4. Fingers crossed...
  5. But that's not the point of the San Marino game really, should be trying out other centre forwards instead of plebbing about with half fit "big names" Roy isn't running a day care centre for unfit premier league players, he's managing a national team who need to bang in at least 8 to get the goal difference up and actually try and qualify.... Best thing they can do is try out a few inform strikers instead of players that are still finding form... God I hate the England team
  6. He's not fit yet is my main complaint, I doubt he's anywhere ready for 90mins on saturday and probably won't be ready for 90 mins against us...
  7. You mean just in Liverpool right... No need to pretend there's a nice bit to the place.
  8. Mental invisible ghost impersonation!
  9. Gutted Milner gets picked ahead of Lallana, there has to be some sort of terrible favour Milner does to Roy every week for that place.... Don't see what Welbeck or Carroll have done so far this season or last that justifies a place in the squad either. Hopefully we draw to San Marino and the FA review the selection process as this is a big joke
  10. Adam was 4 and a half years last christmas in L1, can't remember if that is his last contract signed though, if it is then he's here till 2014. Morgan signed a new 3 year deal at the start of the season which makes it till 2015. Gaston and Rodriguez are both 4 year contracts till 2016 I think
  11. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?40234-West-Ham-ticket-details/page2 Second batch go on sale tomorrow to people with 3 game then general sale after that.
  12. Reading are supposed to be interested too, much more likely he'll be for them instead of us (we're probably added in just because of the high number of goals conceded) as neither of Readings keepers are good, at all...
  13. Hahahahahaha! This needs to be printed and handed out to everyone at the game on sunday!
  14. Good to see our long ball numbers are low. Still think we play a few too many, especially when panicking (like against Everton a bit, same for Arsenal) but it's important to keep it to a minimum, so for events like the pen against villa it will pay off properly.
  15. Iv suited up with a red and white tie the first time I took Saints to the FA cup and Champions league finals... Got my suit ready for my new stadium at Burton Albion in 20 in game months! Just need a yellow and black tie for the occasion
  16. Your assessment of the second goal relies on Jelavic to put it in the same place if Gazza was in a different place. Pretty sure his position for the 2nd forced the shot there instead of him coming out and getting rounded like a chump, or getting beaten at the near post like Kelvin. 3rd one was really just a bullet header, only a few keepers in the world would have gotten something better to it than Gazza managed. As for the defensive midfield, we were missing Morgan against Everton, what more can you say. For the Arsenal goal 3 people went in for that challenge and no one got the ball, another DM wouldn't have helped out that blind panic.
  17. He really needs to score some league goals and get some more starts... Other wise we're going to be making songs for everyone at the club. At this rate Cody Cropper will be expecting a song.
  18. I was looking at the envelope mine came in, they seem to have started to use some slightly more shoddy self seal ones so mine was stick but it came apart too easily (and looked like it would have fallen open in the post).
  19. There's no more chapel chapel give us a song Anyway home support isn't too bad, fair bit of singing and a decent amount of shouting at the away fans and some god awful songs form them. Just not as loud as expected considering we've been close to full most home games this season, especially as in the champ and l1 20k or so could make a lot of noise.
  20. http://www.premierleague.com/content/dam/premierleague/site-content/News/publications/handbooks/premier-league-handbook-2012-2013.pdf Premier league rule book, p140-141 covers kits. No where mentions the slightest bit about how many times a kit has to be worn. Section M. 22. covers that preference is made to home team in kit choice, followed by away team, followed by home keeper and lastly away keeper to ensure there are no clashes. the ref's discretion is applied in M. 26. to cover the events of a clash. Ultimately we don't have to wear any other kit than the red home one if it doesn't clash, it will so we will default to yellow more than likely as it is less likely to clash than the white, but nowhere do we have to use a kit any specific number of times, it is assumed we use our home kit till it is not an option
  21. The two claret teams, West Ham and Villa, are the only teams I thought top would be appropriate to wear against (but not white shorts, maybe dig out the old black ones). For Liverpool I think we will wear yellow as the white won't contrast enough and Norwich we will probably just go all red for the same reason. It's very quickly becoming a collectable kit just because we look like we will never wear it in competition. Round of applause for who thought that one up!
  22. Oh right wow! That's a good start then, got mine when they first went out last week and would be good for an away sell out
  23. We've sold out our initial 1,833 according to the official site and are requesting more! Did general sale start this morning?
  24. White shorts clash, seeing as most teams wear a different colour shorts to the top we will probably hardly ever wear the white kit. It'll be red most the time and the yellow where needed. Villa away I would expect to see the white and maybe West Ham, though yellow would stand out against their kits too...
  25. Boruc looking for fitness as well as Shaw coming back from illness is good. Still amused at the thought of Mugabi commanding our back line... (want him to get good in the future for a chant about him being a dictator)
