A request from the entire internet, there is no character limit on posts to the internet so shortening words like and to n is not necessary and makes every post unreadable Thank you in advance, the internet

Thought we couldn't have him because Blackburn turned around and asked for well over 6m and he's currently out with a hamstring injury... Least we didn't buy Butland
-
You don't blame Fox enough for the 3rd. For the whole game he was playing way too far forward and refused to be in line with the defence at ANY moment. The whole problem was that he was leaving masses of space for anyone and everyone because he seemed to want to be forward and a glory hog. Punch was no better

Apparently voicing valid criticism is reason to be an anti-fan. Reminds me of the glory days of going to Rochdale, seeing Kelvin concede the same useless goal twice and being told quite firmly to shut up by some middle aged woman who thought he had been beaten by two wold class strikes, to his near post....

Cant find it on youtube but all I want to post is the old fool of Paisley shouting Never, Never, NEVER! Partly as theres no fun in being denied a good bit of doom and gloom (Kelvin got found out in L1 so god knows why anyone is surprised it has also happened in the prem) and party because it naturally will sort its self out, a quarter of the really difficult fixtures out of the way after 4 games is a natural positive so things will get better regardless of how angry we all get.

It was very funny along with the kid giving the V sign Just in the context of mimicking the bad boys who got thrown out 15 mins before it was making us look comical
-
He was having to deal with a fox who had gone walkabout at lb... Hardly fair to judge him when he had exactly the same problem as Jos (covering 2 positions at once). He did also have a decent crack at an overhead kick which is alway fun
-
That was severely hampered with the pitch being 3 foot higher than the bottom row of seats. Meant that the other end of the pitch was near enough impossible to see, even at the 4th row standing up I really was struggling to see what was going on the other end.

You were on the wrong side and missed out "you have a nose for stabbing geese" Most confusing afternoon of watching 2 groups of "hard lads" trying to wind up fans who didn't care and getting dragged of by the stewards and police...

He really hasn't, United he was world class, every other game he has had the ball, run about about, tripped over it and wasted possession and goal scoring opportunities. Arsenal he gave a real league 1 performance with his single highlight being the cross in for our goal, even then it wasn't the best we have seen. A frustrating player who we should loose patience with very quickly because his ability to follow the game plan keeps dropping off a cliff and costing us badly.
-
He's bigger than I expected too. Didn't realise he's about Lamberts hight and of a similar build. Give him a few weeks for everyone to learn the sort of places he wants to put the ball and he will take the pressure massively off Lallana for creating chances for the team. Pretty much best player at the club already. Easily worth £12m and a key player wage, Spurs and Liverpool were stupid to not listen to how much he is worth.

Cesar is one something like 90k a week (reportedly) and Green is on over 40k per week.... Hardly cheap I doubt Kelvin or any first team player is on anything near Cesar. Cesar is a great keeper, but we don't have the budget to throw about like that. Ben Foster would have been a sensible buy at 3.5m or Frasier Forster would have been ok at 2m (though he seems to like Scotland too much).

Simple our system relies completely on who ever is left and right midfield to pick up one of the two runners and track back. Yesterday Puncheon played barry big ****** and decided he would be an inside forward who didn't once need to come back into his own half. That left Clyne with two people on him at all times which was painful to watch, exactly the same thing happened on the other side but with fox playing so far forward and leaving Lallana and Maya to cover. The own goal was either touch it and try and put it out for a corner or leave it to go in and let Kelvin be beaten horribly. Against United he he was pretty good, their 2nd was from a cheap rebound that nobody reacted too and the third was a corner from the right side which no CB picked up RVP. Not sure how Clyne was at fault for those... Our defence needs a slap and bungee cording together so they learn where they should be to play a decent line. MOTD last night showed we were playing 3 at the back for their 3rd with Fox wildly out of position, not because he had a chance at the ball but because he is an idiot. Also could do with a large amount of red bull as no one seems to react to anything once the shot is off, bit like playing fifa shooting and half celebrating for it to hit the bar and someone to score on the break.... The system and ways of playing do work, but only when the team listens, but for the first half yesterday and Wigan we decided that the players know best and most of them completely ignored Adkins on what to do and how to play the game, so we turned up, defended very deep and got punished.

Do how we played in the second half today Davis Clyne Fonte Maya Fox Morg JWP/Cork Mayuka Gaston Lallana Lambert
-
Pressing the middle of the park happened, just let down by a complete inability to win the ball. Need a left back who can actually play at left back, instead of playing in line with the midfield so we play a wonky back 3 formation that no one has a clue about. Gazza needs a run out on the off chance he doesn't let in 6 because Kelvin could have done a lot better with give or take 5 of the goals he let in.
-
He was good at Stevenage, can't be worse than Kelvin at any rate...
-
Of the 4 games in the prem so far he has been generally very good, including scoring against United 2 weeks ago. Today wasn't his best day party because he was in charge of dealing with Carloza, AOC and Ghervino all at the same time, seems a bit harsh to write him off for that as what else was he supposed to do first half? Second half they took their foot off the game and Morg got into the game, helped by dropping to 4-2-3-1 with JWP playing next to him in front of the back 4 and not having Steven Davis foul everyone around him (he really didn't look his best after 2 NI games over the weekend).

We are 2 points behind Liverpool, so long as we stay in that sort of range come christmas we will be fine. That or Liverpool are in massive trouble and we wont get too many embarrassing TV moments because no one suspects Liverpool to go down....
-
When AOC got his name read out at the start about half the crowd wheyd and about half booed like children. When they came over everyone who was still there, 2/3rds maybe, stood and applauded them. No boos at the end.

Well that was painful, the international break seems to have given half a first team free reign to sit about masterbate a play FIFA as no one looked match sharp. We were the architect of our own downfall the first half giving possession away in bad areas and doing nothing with it when we did. I cannot see why our back line is the slowest to react when a shot has come off, every single time we assumed Kelvin caught it and only once did he manage to do it. If we play like that against a very average Arsenal for the rest of the season we will be setting a record points low in the premier league. Highlights of the day: The ginger woman next to me squealing every time we had the ball or there was a silence to shout encouragement, funny but annoying. A part of me was wondering if she made those noises in bed, no one would find out. The guys behind me who got thrown out by the police were also very funny, no idea what they were angry about but it probably was for the best as the disabled ginger kid next to them wasn't appreciating it... "You've got a nose for stabbing geese" was hilarious. Finally Chamberlain and Wallcott coming over to give us a round of applause was nice, shame the rest of the team couldn't be bothered like the rest of the match. Gaston needs to start next week, best player at the club, just need to score more than they do from now on... Because Fox was monstrously out of position at all times in that match. The majority of things that went wrong were purely because Fox cannot defend, it's embarrassing how badly he causes our back line to just be in the wrong places. He is easily beaten, needs Lallana to track back to cover for him or a cb to leave a massive amount of space to close down who Fox should have been on. Clyne was sold short with Punch basically done the same as Fox and picking up the wrong people and leaving our defence out numbered. Come January 1st pay any club ANY amount for a premier league left back because it will cost us massively if Fox starts against Arsenal at home.

We're top of the league.....

He gave it his all till he left, he followed the right protocol by signing professionally with us and ensured we got a record transfer sale out of him. Yeah he wasn't best when pushed on the move and took the silly advice of his dad but realistically it went the right way and didn't end up like Chelsea over Kakuta (who know rots in the reserves team). Plenty of players out there who properly deserve a booing and Chamberlain isn't really one of them
-
He'll get sent off after his first tackle, most the Arsenal players are better actors than Keanu Reeves and will be rolling on the floor the moment Chappers comes near him with the glair of the sun radiating off his head....
-
Lambert first goal is 10/1... Always seems a good idea as someone could get hauled down in the box in the opening few mins with Lambert to step up and convert the pen...
-
Why? He's not done anything terrible, been nice about us and hasn't turned out rubbish (already better than Theo). His dad deserves some abuse but that's different.
