Nice one, the ref and sidwel summed up perfectly! Was very amused at all the people who left at 2-1, getting in my way and generally looking stupid.
-
Shame mean's they will play someone decent in Vaz Te's place. He was shocking when we went there in February, never seen a player bottle it so badly when under no pressure on the ball.
-
He changed his shirt!!!!!

Urgh no De Ridder! Would have been the exact same problem as Puncheon on the pitch, ran a lot but their defenders looked surprised how easy it was to win the ball off of him. De Ridder has the touch of a 13 year old rapist and would have made it even simpler for Fulham to win the ball and basically be playing against 10 men. We just needed people who could just keep the ball sensibly away from their attacking midfield 3 (Ruis, KKK bloke and Duff) as they were the only sort of good players Fulham had going forward.

Yeah he didn't jump for one all game, didn't seem too comfortable jumping about yesterday, though normally he doesn't jump and judges where it will land instead but was being beaten by Hangeland who was launching him self at everything. Frustrating one but he didn't look 100% comfortable to be in the game.

Yeah pretty much spot on with Jos, can see why its been Maya and Fonte as first 2 choices. Hooiveld has just not been aware of when he is and isn't needed which is terrifying. Was convinced in the car Gazza went the right way for their second and it took a touch from Hoovield to bundle in which MOTD showed. Just frustrating to see as he should be good enough really.

We had better ref's in League one. Or at least ones with more common sense.
-
I know such a joke, should have had 3 or 4 in the first half. Duff falling over as poor as it looked in real life too.
-
Nope, he was doing most the right things right as captain, I felt he was let down by a lack of passing on the floor.
-
Complete nonsense, no idea why this needs a thread when he never was up for the sack.
-
Boruc is still getting back his fitness after a pretty easy summer. Probably impossible to drop Gazza right now too, pretty much the quickest way to destroy the lad.

Well we have 3 more months of sensible and adult scouting to do, along with everything we have done in the last few months, to identify players that are better than what we have, not just people to bring in competition or anything silly but players who are better. The 4 week window is just when we can sign them. There is plenty of time to sort out who we want and what we need to add to the squad.
-
As long as we play football how we want to, keeping it away from West Ham, we can easily come away with a win. They aren't all that and will try to use the all that image to bully us.
-
Sacking him is equivalent to playing in blue, renaming the stadium fratton park and breaking football. Stupid idea.

Miles better than Kelvin, he is still finding his feet in commanding the back 4 but that will come from game time and being with the lads more. Very good shot stopping, seems to be able to anticipate where it will drop better than Kelvin, great catching and positioning too. The kicks are good, though we are starting to concede more possession from them sadly, plus he has good reflexes for his height and frame. Bargain at a million or so, if we go down he'll be the top keeper in the champ next year, if we stay up he'll be pushing for the no.1 shirt soon enough, he has the place and doesn't look dropable at all right now. Do love the time wasting routines, Rodiellga looked wound up after 10 mins with the socks, gloves and ball position all needing a lot of checking...

Hopefully Adkins is annoyed that we just didn't play proper football for most the game, the team is good enough if we just play properly. We were pushed into playing long ball because every time we passed the ball it ended up at Punch how fell over. Frustrating that we are a lot better than we played today, when we pass and move like we did attacking city, united and villa we will be fine in the prem. If we hoof like Fulham did today we are in trouble there aren't enough spaces in the prem for teams playing nonsense football like that

Lambert was out the game at 55 mins, you could see Ruiz dropped deep meaning Lambert had to pick him up and nobody could remember just to pass the ball about. He was always going to come off as the passing game wasn't going his way sadly. Punch had the same problem that he wasn't doing anything with the ball, get it, run then basically give it away. Just no idea why Myukaka wasn't an option when Guly and Chaplow were...

Fonte with Gazza in second. Fonte got the goals and really performed well, Gazza looks to be coming a long, both goals took a harsh defection in but he made a lot of good saves. Steven Davis and Schniderlin should get big mentions, making big tackles but both were guilty of a bit of hoof when good passing was really needed.
-
Well that was 2 points dropped, Fulham looked a useless hoof a lot side, what a joke of a side. We should have had 3 or 4 in the first 20 mins when we actually played football, then we had close to 60 mins of copying Fulham at hoof, went to 2-1 then hammered at their goal for the rest of the game. Both their goals took deflections and were strokes of luck with Duff being their only mobile or interested player. Ruiz looked good second half when he dropped deep for them as Lambert couldn't keep up with him in that sort of area. Schwarzer is also still class, despite Gazza putting in a decent shift with saves and a comical amount of time wasting. Fonte was the best player on the pitch and Rodriguez was the worst, we have massively over paid for a player who isn't ready yet. For a tall lad he's pretty naff in the air and is rushing his chances badly. No idea who Myukua has insulted to not have been stuck on with Lambert as that looked good last time. Other main disappointment was Punch did a typical Punch game, everyone playing (at times unneeded) 1 touch football and he thought he could mess about taking 30. At least Fox was much better today, chair thrown at him seems to have helped. Finally thought the ref was properly nervous of the cameras on in, Jos booked for having limbs was a joke and he seemed so hit and miss to what was and wasn't a foul. Plus when we had 2 guys down in the first few mins it looked like an IRA bombing wouldn't have made him stop the game. Took Lambert 2 goes to floor someone just so Frazer could be seen too and Rodriguez given a pat on the back. Actually why did Rodriguez go down more times than a Thai hooker but still run about for 90 mins? Seems to have the worst set of habits already without the goal scoring.

To the tune of can't touch this?

Not just yet, ultimate impact sub, what SHTEEVE should be.... Give him a few more weeks training and we see if we can work a RW sort of role out of him (get him to work the odd cross), if we see them then he'll start, if we don't he'll be the super sub.
-
Don't play as us on FIFA 13, our entire back line and GK selection just make it depressing.
-
Glad we didn't touch him, looks like an immobile lump for Reading!
