Isn't it a shame that even after a couple of fantastic results, we still have threads that invoke the same kind of arguments between fellow fans. IMO, the end of the season is the time to look back and (if you really must) start the 'I was right, you were wrong, ner ner ne ner ner' bo!!ocks. Not that there really IS a right or wrong answer to this kind of thing... everyone has different expectations, and a different level of tolerance of things if those expecatations aren't met. FC's post above gives quite a good balanced view IMO, but ultimately, why can't fans just be happy with recent results, instead of seemingly always looking to make a point and get one over a fellow fan?

Fonte has been booked 4 times this season, 3 at Palace. He's played in 10 games, 8 league, 2 JPT (both Semi-Final legs), with his record being: P10 W6 D4 L0 F21 A5

OK, so I was bored - 8th Feb 1995 when we beat Luton 6-0 in the FA Cup: Heaney, Hughes, Le Tiss x 2, Magilton, Monkou.

Well it wasn't exactly a serious request. (That said, I fully expect a statto to reply in due course...)

Possession * Southampton 55% * Huddersfield 45% Attempts on target * Southampton 11 * Huddersfield 7 Attempts off target * Southampton 9 * Huddersfield 2 Corners * Southampton 11 * Huddersfield 3 Fouls * Southampton 19 * Huddersfield 11 Pretty damn convincing... if you hadn't guessed from the scoreline!

Come on then, time for some updated stats...!

Seriously impressive stuff, 4-0 up against a top 6 side and hardly a sniff at the other end. I don't want to sound churlish, but a clean sheet would be nice to round things off.

lol to the last two posts.

It's just one big database that gets more and more accurate as more people use it and effectively fill in the blanks for it.

http://www.dpreview.com for the most in-depth info and reviews on cameras. Might be overkill, but it's the single best resource on the net IMO.

A full 2m45 on the Beeb website from this morning, including interviews with Ap and Lambert at the end. Much better, although still not that much more in terms of Saints chances... just shows a few more Norwich ones it seems. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8527341.stm
