I'll have to come back to this to get to know my SMS teammates... not today but soon.

I agree with Arizona on Bart. I base that on not just this season, but on the very clear capability he showed in goal for us in previous seasons, especially his first, when he had an excellent run in the side and looked extremely competant under Burley. I also agree that KD is the current number 1, but that long term, Bart can be our keeper all the way back to the Prem. He can grow with the team, long after KD retires, and so I think he is an important player for us.

Yes, I have a collection of 37, although 11 of those are for special occasions only.

Either you're a ****, or you're pretending to be a ****, which still makes you a ****. No offence like.

Sorry Tim, seems you're in a minority of one here. I admire your stubbornness on this point if you genuinely (obviously) believe it to be true, but think perhaps it's better to discuss in a day or so when emotions have died down. That said, I still doubt many will agree with you. I'm afraid I don't.

Excellent work from Saints, and with a bit more quality and composure we could be ahead. Can't fault the effort or work rate at all... won some possession through sheer hard graft, especially Lallana and Waigo, although the latter has also lost possession a few times. They obviously have a bit more quality on the ball, but they're not really using it, and apart from O'Hara, none of their players are particularly standing out.

Get that thread open Ponty...

I am far more nervous than I ever thought I would be. Got the laptop on my lap (duh), pc in the lounge next to me, with the tv card recording the coverage to my pc, and obviously ITV1 on the telly. Bring it on lads. Do us proud, give them a fight at least.

That was only me I think... and I did say that I didn't really have a clue!

I would suggest that if we lost, then it would be whoever Pompey were drawn against in the QF that got the bye, not us, although I could be wrong.

Apparently it's now NINE days?! Makes no sense to me...
-
Adjourned for SEVEN days, not 28... that's not long!
-
Case adjourned apparently, no idea how long for yet.

One thing mentioned on the Porstmouth News live feed thingy, is that even f relegated, Pompey would have c.£25m in parachute payments to come to them. Even if they had to sell players to reduce the wage bill and possibly even face tumbling down the leagues, with that amount of money coming in, guarenteed, I'd be surprised if they were actually wound up, and rather just told that that money would be earmarked for HMRC or whoever. Now, admittedly, I don't really have a clue how it all works, but it kinda makes sense.

Text updates? Where they then?

F*ck, that's a lot of winding-up to be done...
