  1. Dating apps like Tinder also play a significant part in what’s wrong with young people trying to date these days. I don’t know if this chap was using them but I think we can assume for a 22 year old virgin it’s fairly likely. I saw a video a while back in which someone explained that (I forget the exact percentage) men swiped right (yes) on roughly half the women they were swiping through but women only swiped right on roughly 5%. It makes sense when you consider our basic instincts; men looking to spread our seed as far and wide as possible, women looking for the best possible sperm donor. So now you’ve got a situation like this; supposing you have 100 men and 10 women on tinder (and the sausage ratio is that bad) and the women swipe right on the following guys (numbered 1-100) Woman 1 - Guy 1,2,3,4,5 Woman 2 - Guy 3,7,8 Woman 3 - Guy 2 and 9 (she’s a bit choosy) Woman 4 - Guy 1,6,7,8,9,10 etc. You’re left with guys 11-100 with basically nothing, feeling worthless, angry, unattractive and resentful towards women, whilst guys 1-10 get all the matches. Guys 1-10 are, as they would describe it, swimming in p*ssy. With an endless supply of ‘girls on tap’ they’re clearly going to treat them with anything but respect. You’ve got, let’s say, six girls hooked on the line but you only want to shag one this evening - don’t waste time with romance and conversation, just send out a few dick pics and see what happens. Four of them will probably be disgusted but who cares about them when you only need one to say yes. So this is the world of dating apps. You’ve got 90% guys resenting women because they feel rejected, 10% who are complete misogynists because women are a disposable, sexual commodity and a whole bunch of completely misleading headlines about, "65% of women say they have received indecent images or messages on dating apps!" Which they obviously have but they’re getting them all from the same 3-5% of guys, not 65%.
  2. I’m not confident of Man City’s chances of retaining the title either. Their destiny won’t be in their own hands, they’re relying on all 19 other teams being worse than them. Would be a pretty unlikely coincidence.
  3. This headline. Not the actual story, just the headline. https://inews.co.uk/news/uk/labour-leader-sir-keir-starmer-geronimo-alpaca-must-die-1147178
  4. Newport away, that'll do.
  5. Being a Saints fan, these days.
  6. What, just for a laugh?
  7. Nope.
  8. It's very similar to the Hojbjerg situation, having a year left really doesn't give us much room to bargain. Seems a reasonable fee to me considering the circumstances.
  9. TBF if I was 34 and leaving a place where I'd lived and worked my entire life, being adored like some sort of god for over a decade in the process, was forced to leave and was then offered £2m a month... I'd probably react in exactly the same way.
  10. Yugoslavia has a history of ethnic tension going back centuries and the collapse of all the communist governments in the late 80s just set everything off. It’s not really relevant to this issue. I don’t know much about Hungary but had an ex. Who is Polish and it struck me whenever I went there just how set in its ways and gripped by Christianity the place is. A lot of the younger generation are p*ssed off with the anti-abortion and LGBT attitudes of the establishment.
  11. But it isn’t. As a society grows economically, tolerance and social development go hand in hand. The decline in all forms of discrimination in British society has come about through having better jobs, education and working conditions for everyone. There has been no great war against homophobia, society has simply moved on and it’s faded into the background, with the catalyst of religious dogma also in decline.
  12. Phase two of the global reset begins; governments start shutting down national media outlets and communications. Don’t say you weren’t warned. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-58169501
  13. It's a North/South draw, is it not? With the exception of Oxford/Burton we won't get any of those. Somebody sh*t at home, as always please.
  14. Prawn sandwiches?
  15. Saganowski - 4 was properly non-conformist.
  16. If it were up to me I'd make 1 a winger or something, just to mess with people.
  17. Good that we've topped up the tattoo quota within the squad. Was looking a bit thin with Bertrand and Ings leaving.
  18. Not really, Tella and Walcott I’m sure are seen very much as forward options. I’d happily see the back of Ireland’s finest goal machines.
  19. Official now, on Twitter.
  20. Why so lazy?
  21. Bit bland and dull for me, probably wont bother bidding.
  22. 12 goals, level with Wood and two ahead of Benteke but yeah, if you say so.
  23. What do you mean ‘excuse’? Have you had a cursory glance at the clubs finances, clearing all those players is needed to break even on wages, not go on some massive spending spree.
  24. I can’t help but feel this discussion would be a lot less tedious if some people could just accept that other people are against the basic principle of compelled speech/expression. The stubbornness on this issue really isn’t getting us anywhere.
  25. I think the phrase ‘gay prawn’ may have arisen from someone’s autocorrect.
