Thought it would be a tough game, especially with our injuries. Hopefully we’ll take off long at ht and give one of the young attackers 45 minutes.

Would have preferred to see one of youngsters starting ahead of long. Fingers crossed he looks more effective than of late. shame vest is missing. Had to be Stephens in really.

Relieved that a disastrous no deal seems to have been avoided. still think we’re a lot worse off but ship has sailed for a number of years at least.

Hope he stays at Doncaster for the rest of the season. He’s settled well there. Is a different loan really going to be that much massively more financially beneficial to necessitate a disruption.

Hopefully vest can make this one and maybe be rested for next game.

Good to see Burnley beat wolves, keeping them from gaining ground on us. The lad benson just robbed me of a ff clean sheet though by his naive foul for the penalty.

Played well, just lacked a bit of cutting edge or bounce of ball. On another day stones puts the ball into his own net rather than spooning it into a position where Adams can’t score from walcott played very well as did vestergaard. Really wanted good Redmond to turn up 8nstead we got bad Redmond just when we needed someone to turn the game our way. losing Danny for an unknown period and Romeu for a game is a worry. hopefully Diallo can hit the ground running and help us bounce back with a win.

Surprised that it’s djenepo not Redmond starting for Armstrong. Find it odd that we haven’t put a natural fb on the 9 man bench. obafemi really gone down the pecking order. Interesting to see what happens with him in Jan.

I’d be tempted to start Redmond.

Frustrating point but at end of season it’ll look like reasonable point. we started well but struggled to deal with Saka. ings lacking sharpness still. holding a bit lucky on the penalty chance.

That was very enjoyable. When we hadn't scored after being so dominant i worried it might end up one of those smash and grab affairs. Fortunately they got sloppy and we took adavantage and never really looked back. Good to see redders more like himself and get a goal, see in his interview he said he didn't come back in the best of shape at the start of the season.

Honestly i’d Be tempted to drop Armstrong to the bench alongside djenepo, bringing in ings and Redmond.

Not a fan of var nor of the rule of fouling outside and then calling a secondary foul(once in the box) if you are going to have var and its armpit offsides then that penalty call has to also be judged by same fashion by var. if he fouls him which he does, then the secondary contact is caused by his foul, which stops kwp and since it’s in the box it’s a penalty.

That feels nice. A scrappy win after last week's turnaround. Was worried the penalty wasn't going to be given, even though seemed clear to me. Vestergaard super again. Nice to have some impact subs to make. Good to get Danny some match shaprnesss. Not at his best but a lovely taken penalty.

Both wide men have been very poor. Ralph surely has to sub djenepo at least at ht as he keeps sillily giving them chances to dive and get him red carded. Redmond on please, shortly followed by ings. don’t get our high defensive line from their free kicks. Seems to be inviting a goal. vestergaard made a very poor half passable with equalizer.

I’m definitely on the personal responsibility side. Some people abuse gambling but if that’s the argument advertising of everything should be banned.

Personally I just ignore it but do find the lack of any media discussion about what the conditions are to end what seems to have just become a rather trite rite.

i can’t see Stephens being dropped from the bench, not least because he covers fullback even if Salisu somehow makes bench.

Definitely a mistake. Guessing he wouldn’t have signed a one year deal which makes it look worse. Still at time I assume it was less risky decision than letting him go,given that then Adams hadn’t yet kicked into gear and he’d been starting alongside ings.
