I would hope Ralph would be here next season. I can’t see the obvious step up job currently unlike with koeman. -
Shrewsbury’s midfielder Laurent looked very good.

Do we rest Ings vs Liverpool to keep him fresh for midweek game vs Spurs? -

I'd prefer if we are going for the 4th choice centre back as a development project to use an academy product such as Jones or Klarer. Danso doesn't seem worth a fee to me but at the end of the day as long as its Ralph making the decision. Bednarek came in cheap and has been an excellent purchase, so maybe danso's got very deeply hidden potential other don't have. -
annoyed that BBC think their pundits creaming themselves about Man City rather than an actual close cup tie is an acceptable use of license fee payers money

Not sure i see the value in loaning Vestergaard out or Walker peters loan, unless Valery and cedric prognoses are a lot worse than we've been told. -

Didn’t Ralph say it was glandular fever. -

Clearly bundling over defenders off the ball is now ok. Might help us score if long's able to constantly run over the top of Van Dijk in our next game. -

Have no issue with boufal being frustrated at being on the bench. His post match comments suggest he’s still up for it. Interesting to see who gets the nod vs Liverpool in armstrong’s Likely absence -

Very enjoyable game. Nice to see reemergence of angus Gunn. Excellent sweeping in second half and save in the first. Not sure how their goal stands. Clearly Alli fouls danso in the build up. Nice to see end product from boufal. He’s go8ng to be needed with Armstrong out. Ings Radar slightly off today. Still played well but on another day he would have bagged a couple. Danso. Don’t get why we brought him in. Hmm well hopefully Valery will be fit enough for next couple with Cedric fit by after our winter break week off. -

Agree not sure why we’d want to pay that sort of fee for a spurs youth product with little experience and who has impressed so little for them. People rightly give Bournemouth grief for forking over large fees for player’s just because they once spent a day in a Liverpool top. -
I'd prefer to see Hojberg sign a new contract than be sold. He's a good player and would be hard to replace. We certainly can't sell him this window either which means any fee we would get in the summer would be probably much lower.

Content seeing wolves lost.

Or buy one centre back and involve a youngster like Alfie Jones, who's done ok out on loan in league 1 as fourth choice. -

If we could sell him form 15M, we'd still have Yoshi and Danso(If him being a centre back isn't a myth), plus the first choice 2. That wouldn't seem crazy to get to the end of the season. Not that i expect anyone to give us 15m or offer us anything but a loan fee for Vest, in which case its worth keeping him. -
Curious what sort of line-up we'll put out. Always likely to be some rotation but hopefully not excessive. Ings being rested hopefully means he'll start. Also wonder if it'll be too soon for valery if Cedric is out.

Can’t believe forest would sell him as they are firmly in promotion race. -
Palace 0-2 Saints. Wild celebration reaction thread.

Not sure how the ref managed to end up booking more saints players. Loved jwp getting into zaha’s Head. Especially that late perfectly timed crunching tackle. Hopefully vestergaard will stick to doing simple stuff which he did very well. Let our ball playing center back Stephens do the fancy stuff. Speaking of which some of his first half passes were lovely. No clue why palace didn’t play ayew up top, he’s no winger. Hopefully we can keep up performance levels at weekend. It’s a bizarre league. Anyone could get dragged back into relegation mix as it stands. -
Fair play to vestergaard, got past that horror show moment and made some key blocks. Great team performance. Loved Redmond getting that goal. Don’t understand the stick he gets as he puts so much work in for the team.
-
Surprised we haven't freshened up the midfield at all. Glad obafemi got nod over adams, who had zero impact at the weekend.
-
Hope djenepo starts this one. Maybe Armstrong rested. You do wonder the point of danso’s loan if he’s not given a try at center back if bednarek is out.

A game of 2 halves. First goal we conceded seemed very poor and breathed new life into Wolves. Don't blame stephens for the 2nd. It's a very good through ball and he's millimetres from a saving touch. Felt Ralph should have reacted sooner rather than waiting for the 2nd. Frustrating as even a draw would have been an ok result and we were in dreamland at half time. Other results at least were decent.

I don't think there's a cat in hell's chance of getting that size of fee for a 31 year old
