You gotta think he'll move on. He's hugely in Ralph's thinking and frees up wage budget in regards to bringing in a new challenge.

January is a terrible time to be recruiting so i'm happy enough at the news. Glad to hear valery is on his way back. Wonder will the next Cup game will be too soon for him. -
An impact sub that scored 24 goals last season. I can see why leeds might be interested.

Hopefully walker Peters stuff is complete nonsense. Either that or we get lucky and he goes to palace. -
Given it's a much wider trend within the premier league i'd say its commercial

Except he played several after Leicester before his mystery illness. One very bad game when everyone else played badly, when he has also has had very good games is hardly cause for writing him off. I’m fine with replacing Cedric with someone with some experience, just not with someone who’s not done well and has little real experience. -
If Adams really wants to move despite the manager wanting him, you do wonder why? Is it a character issue/or promises to him that haven’t been kept

Not sure I see much logic in walker peters as cedric’s Replacement. We’ve already got Valery who is younger, played and showed more. -
Handy that they’ve a midweek game. Hope we can keep the run going with at least a point.

Whatever loan left back we get is coming in short term at least not to play much unless there's an injury to our first choice. Kind of a hard brief. What's motivating the parent club (are we offering them the view to permanent or just waiting for them to get desperate to have the player out on loan) , so probably be quite late in the window before it gets sorted. -
Personally don't agree. I could always see the very good attributes in Stephens which were foiled by lapses in concentration. Whereas with Hoedt i could never actually what our scouts saw in him at all.

Apparently we are down to 10 loans so he's got a chance to complete that starting lineup. -

Not sure how looking to emulate previous successful academy products is a bad thing. Club seem to be doing a good job supporting him. -
That's just funny.

Every time i’ve Watched u23’s he’s looked good. Hopefully he gets some useful experience there.

Amazes me utd aren’t swarming round potchettino. Solskjaer is not the only problem at 7nited but he’s no solution either.
-
Really hoping whatever the issue is we get to see him back in a saints shirt relatively soon. Put in some excellent displays for us so far and if he keeps improving he'll be quite some player.

Annoying draw. Still possible to win, hopefully Kane will still be out by then.

First half he had that weak shot from an angle where he really should have cut in back.

Was the price for Maehle being quoted considerably higher last Jan? -

A relatively comfortable win with 2 academy players playing well and scoring, i'll take that Lots of the fringe players failed to impress. Long cemented his place in the starting lineup over adams. Don't really get the point of Danso if he's not here to be a centre back just send him back to his parent club. Slattery has really dropped down the pecking order considering last year he was starting and now he can't make it off the bench. -

Well eventually we were going to be on the negative end of the atrocious VAR system on a tight call. Home to Huddersfield is the game you want that decision to go against you. No clue why Boufal one isn't a pen though. The guy comes through the back. Is that not as clear and obvious as the offside that they had to spend 5 minutes working out. -

Frustrating how negatively we are playing Need to get more and quicker ball to boufal -
Danso once again out of position on the right. Would have preferred Cedric or Ramsay there. Wonder what's going to happen with Danso in the window if we actually secure a fullback
