No desire to see a convicted rapist play for Saints, i definitely wouldn't want an unrepetant one like Evans. Sheff Utd seem to be doing their image a massive amount of damage but that's up to them i guess.

Was bemused by the left back thing, after initially thinking he'd dropped baines for Shaw and Gibbs. Some odd selections with Carrick, Walcott in with barely any football and Townsend/Lambert equally somehow staying in.

Really don't see it, unless Jrod breaks down and we need cheap cover. Once fit jrod gives us another option, and if we are forced to cash in on him we'll have money to invest in a replacement. Plus if Lambert leaves liverpool I assume it'll be to play regularly.

Can see the job he does for the team, even if his finishing isn't perfect. The fee rankles rather though, but maybe that's the tight part of me that doesn't want us paying that much over the odds.

My gut instinct thinks Toby is only going to be here for the year. Either he'll go back and play regularly for Madrid or someone bigger will buy him. Still a short term great deal to get someone as good as him who felt he wasn't getting the game time where he was. Would love it if i turn out to be wrong and we buy him in the summer. Can't see Bertrand having a future at Chelsea. If we've got option to buy in the summer then happy to wait till then.

Agree, thought him and Quashie vastly improved our centre midfield. Problem was that Harry never sorted out the defence.

I'll be interested to see where he rocks up next and how he does. Think he's got potential to be a very good manager. I wasn't against the notion of him at Saints if we weren't able to attract someone of the calibre of Koeman.

Swindon fan i know has been very complementary about Stephens. Turnbull seems to have settled ok but not made same impression.

League cup is below fa & league top 4 for me. Still excited about winning it but happy for it to be a proving ground for youngsters like targett too.

Really hope he signs a new contract. If he does'nt I guess we'll have to though. Losing him for 15m would be gutting, especially to Spurs.
