  1. Poor signing imo. Will have to score a lot of goals to justify that massive fee.
  2. Please please be true
  3. Not convinced about the new approach. Time will tell how bad or good signings turn out to be but have very high standard to live up to compared to previous 2 seasons imo.
  4. Interesting to see Jos' duties now revolve round being Morgan's minder.
  5. See Bruce has confirmed the silly massiveness of the bid.
  6. That's how i see it too, the Morgan situation just makes it a multitude of times worse. Wanyama is a great defensive shield in certain games but would hate to go into season without as accomplished a performer as Cork.
  7. I'd take 2-0 if our performance is good. If its as i fear we'll look like a a hastily arranged mediocre mess losing comfortablly 2-0 to a misfiring Liverpool side then no.
  8. At least they didn't predict 7-1.
  9. If Wellbeck does go to Hull(which i still think unlikely) it'll make our comical overspend on mediocre long even worse.
  10. Good to see club legend shares high opinion of Cork. Just wish Saints board pull their heads out of whatever hole they've stuck them in before we lose another very good player and this time for a pittance.
  11. Then get rid of spiderman who's never going to stay long anyhow and keep Cork as a long-term fixture.
  12. Find it comical that Taider, a makeweight loan signing who hasn't even played a competitive game for us is going described as an upgrade on one of better and consistent performers. Haven't seen anything in his brief cameo so far to even suggest such. No doubt Bertrand is an improvement on shaw too.
  13. So relegation zone all year, manager change and last gasp escape to look forward too. hmmmmmmmm
  14. Not sure what you are on about. Puncheon has done well for them. He was a bargain at the price they got him for.
  15. Very impressive every since he joined us. Only lost his place for spell when Wanyama arrived and then came back as strong as ever when opportunity arose. Morgan's clearly not staying for long-term whatsoever and getting rid of this excellent performer for peanuts is crazy. He should be a fixture in the line-up not cheap as chips sale to Palace, massively strengthening them.
  16. You're not the arbiter of what i view as tragedy. Having the majority of our best players sold including Cork with several others chomping on the bit to get out counts for me.
  17. Sums up my view completely. I'm about done with this season and it hasn't even kicked off yet. The club i love being an object of mockery and in utter freefall.
  18. Sums up my views succinctly.
  19. Cork, coupled with latest Boruc- Morgan gossip makes it look like the tragedy is set to continue for remainder of window.
  20. He is a great player and I'm neither drunk nor related to him. Find your opinion of him laughable.
  21. Got to wonder if the club seriously want to beat the feat of going from 8th to relegation in two seasons, lol.
  22. Disagree think as well as being good in holding role, he's got attributes to play further forward and did well when asked to do so in one of games towards end of season. Crazy to remove another key performer from last few seasons especially when Morgan I has made it clear his long-term future isn't with saints.
  23. Anyone who thinks Morgan has any long-term future at saints is deluded. Cork has shown he is versatile enough to play further up in the midfield. Shameful action if saints flog him for peanuts.
  24. I've had it with this summer. Endlessly getting rid of great players.
  25. Agreed, utterly crazy. Think I'll be changing my prediction on how close saints will be to relegation zone if it occurs.
