  1. It's a bit like Brexit. Boris Johnson patently didn't want to take the UK out with no deal. He wanted to be stopped, whereafter he could point fingers at the "Brexit traitors." Similarly, given the ridiculous conditions attached, it looks suspiciously like Eisner has no intention of actually doing the stadium work - he just wants someone to blame.
  2. Currently, at give away prices, Pompey have an average league attendance, including plenty of season ticket holders who don't actually attend, discounted tickets for UoP staff and students etc., of 17,892, making them the third best-supported team in League 1 (congrats on that by the way). Fratton Park's current reduced capacity is 19,669, and if they fixed the roof 21,000 people could watch Pompey lose in discomfort. I'd be curious to see the feasibility studies which are going to convince Network Rail and the council to invest millions in advance of Pompey spending a single penny upgrading Fratton Park to a 30,000-seater turd bowl. Where exactly do they expect these hordes of new supporters to magically appear from?
  3. Romeu has put in decent performances - Stephens is in no way suited to the role IMHO
  4. You'd know
  5. Why do I even bother, what the **** was that
  6. I know the players aren't that good, but they also look shot of confidence and uncertain of their roles. We're set up in a way that clearly doesn't work, and the coach has done nothing.
  7. I'd lay money Whelk is full of ****. Appropriate avatar he has too. Don't know either of them mind.
  8. The Fratton Faithful fighting amongst their own over whether to support the manager? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.
  9. Is that a 4-4-2 ?
  10. Redmond has definitely improved.
  11. Pompey are set to unveil their "vision" for Fratton Park. Staggeringly this seems to involve having some actual work done on one of the stands. https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/portsmouth-chief-mark-catlin-we-re-on-the-verge-of-unveiling-our-fratton-park-vision-1-9124969
  12. Not only that, she had a healthy majority when she took over from Cameron. She then called a pointless election and all but lost it.
  13. I highly doubt we'll ever see him play for Saints again.
  14. I don't think so :-)
  15. Pompey goalless again with the 2 million pound man recalled to the starting line up. WTFILN? I am.
  16. A draw was a fair result. We look competitive at this level when we're well set up with the right players on the pitch.
  17. John Marquis showing once again why they paid 2 million quid for him.
  18. Do we? I'm not so sure, and it scares the living **** out of me. Descent into fascism here we come.
  19. Actually, they now have a vegan sausage roll, so perhaps just 98%.
  20. Does he get linked with top clubs? I've not noticed it.
  21. lol - too true, not sure Reed is the answer though
  22. Super weak bench
  23. He's basically an alcoholic. He's ill. Feel a bit guilty taking the ****, if I'm honest.
  24. I really don't understand why we allowed both Reed and Lemina to leave on loan.
