  1. Their captain's on his way too Will the last person to desert the good ship Pompey please remember not to leave the famous boardroom chairs in the skip
  2. If it really has been "genuinely the greatest experience of his life." Why is he jacking it in? That's like filing for divorce and telling your wife she's the only women you'll ever love. The whole place is such a fetid dump of a joke, but somehow in the pikey idiot's eyes it's the bestest sleepiest giant in world football ever. Sooo much doublethink.
  3. Plenty more to vomit over at the link
  4. Catlin is on his way Half their players are out of contract, they're looking for a new "head of football operations", have a new management team, and have just decimated their academy. So there's basically no-one left. Lol
  5. Redmond, Adams, JWP and Ings were excellent Bednarek Stephens and Vestergaard were poor - lots of unforced errors. Obafemi looked dangerous and Salisu dependable.

    Our form

Outside the top six and Everton, we had a longer current run in the Premier League than any other team, and that despite spending considerably less than many. Objectively, I know that's quite an achievement, it just doesn't feel that way.
  7. If you reach the playoffs, which I doubt
  8. David Agbontohoma has wangled a trial at Wednesday https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sheffield-wednesday-assessing-premier-league-youngster-as-they-prepare-for-busy-summer/

  11. "Niemi" - surprised Pedantic Pete didn't spot that.
  12. Omens are good for this one. Chelsea came back from a crushing defeat to West Brom and won their cup game, don't see why we shouldn't do the same.
  13. I've watched him in youth games where he stands out as a cut above those he's playing against. I've been very disappointed by his PL appearances to date, still think there's a player in there somewhere.
  14. Wasn't Davros Donkey Dowie a surveyor or something?
  15. Hardly - he's a decent looking u21 international and only 19. Clearly a standout prospect
  16. Indeed, Global Force FC are now 5th in League 1
  17. This, lots here with short memories. He's had injuries, and like any human being he has off days, but he's a decent footballer.
  18. Yes, that is very funny
  19. A far cry from the days of the Portsmouth Galacticos. Perhaps Maradona is a more realistic option now he's dead?
  20. They were top of the league in December, their season has completely fallen apart
  21. I don't think I can take watching any more of that. I swear the quality of football in League 1 has fallen off a cliff since we were in it.

  23. This is also my feeling

  25. We're going to need replacements for Ings and probably Bertrand, and with very little money, this will be tough. However, we've made some very astute purchases recently so I'm optimistic.
