Vestergaard had a decent game, I thought
-
Global Force 0 - Wigan 1 at half time, and they've yet to have a shot on target. I think this could be their year, and they will finally make it out of League 1.
-
Do they even have a squad ready for the opening game? What are their chances of relegation this season?
-
Indeed, a clause like that doesn't do much for the integrity of the competition
-
They really are a joke club - the hubris of planning to be a global force when you can't get past Stevenage in the cup, and won't pay to fix the dilapidated shithole ground until the Council forks out to accommodate the thousands and thousands of extra punters who will inevitably flock to such stirring displays.

I have to agree with this bloke. The mock wattle and daub design for the new Milton End is absolutely toe-curling.
-
Further excuses for not "investing" in their faded glory/money pit. I guess they'll be stuck playing in a shack for the foreseeable. https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/milton-end-hold-continues-despite-portsmouth-given-green-light-council-chiefs-2944890

And he's a former UKIP candidate. I'm amazed that this wasn't an out of character one-off incident.
-
The court heard Jennings had 14 previous convictions for 21 offences including an offence of affray in 1998 for which he was jailed for 18 months and given a five-year football banning order.
-
The former UKIP candidate, from Portsmouth, was also handed a six-month football banning order. Jennings had been ordered by police to leave the area two hours before the match because he was drunk, the barrister said. However, the defendant returned and joined a "baying mob" of Portsmouth fans. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-hampshire-53610926

Fantastic that JWP has signed on for five more years. He could end up being a one-club player. How long is it since Saints last lined up in the Premier League without him?
-
Vestergaard you utter tool
-
I'm guessing it'll be someone who can play across the back 4, like Danso. Ralph likes a tight-knit squad.
-
To me, Walker Peters was at fault for both United goals. Am I being harsh?
-
Indeed, it doesn't seem like Saints have handled his development very well. I hadn't realized he was 25, thougyht he was much younger. Either he needs to be involved with the first team or be moved on.

So you care about your personal freedoms, but couldn't give a toss about others'?

Has anybody contributing to this thread ever changed their mind about anything? What's the point? Do you all just come here for an argument?
-
LOL - these "very marketable players" proved impossible to shift in the last two windows, and aren't good enough to play for a team from the lower reaches of the Premier League. If that's his answer, then we are in a dire financial position.

He's fractured his ankle, and there's no timescale for his recovery https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51752025

Actually the most massivest club will set a new attendance record for the final of the competition they're boycotting. https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/portsmouth-heading-eclipse-millwall-and-southampton-claim-another-wembley-attendance-record-2071445
