  1. This. You have to wonder whose decision it was to make this information public, and why they did so. I'd imagine that the club is behind it, which seems very strange as they have absolutely nothing to gain from doing so. From what I can gather, all that's happened is the bloke has been shown round the stadium and held a few meetings. No formal process has begun whatsoever. It all seems very premature, and exceedingly unlikely to happen.
  2. Meanwhile, in former owner news, perhaps this goes some way to explaining why the forensic examination of the accounts is so overdue. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/mar/20/british-banks-handled-vast-sums-of-laundered-russian-money
  3. He has to be either a fantisist or an asset stripper. This is going to be so funny.
  4. Staying behind chanting and bell ringing in an empty stadium half an hour after the whistle has blown, the game is over and everyone else has gone home makes you a better fan. They truly are the bestestmost, and they don't do booing. Bless. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/travelling-pompey-faithful-lauded-1-7873150
  5. Hahahahahahahahahaha
  6. The Forum should move on, Mr Biscuits knows what's best... I for one will continue to enjoy holding a grudge - schadenfreude being one of my main footballing pleasures.
  7. Ex Portsmouth footballers Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and JWP make the England squad. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/one-time-pompey-schoolboy-gets-england-call-up-1-7869831
  8. One of the fullbacks was called up for France U18 recently
  9. That was uncalled for. I'm guessing you read the Daily Mail?
  10. While I would prefer them to drop out of the league altogether, it would be funny to see if they can keep up the "big club" nonsense in League 1 where there are a good few other clubs who won trophies a couple of generations back and are capable of drawing a crowd.

  14. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/773327/Leeds-transfer-shock-Premier-League-club-plot-raid-star-Scouts-sent-watch-him-News-Gossip We've been interested since he was at Malmo (allegedly) and have sent scouts to watch him. If there's anything in it at all, it's probably just that he's one of the many players we keep tabs on.
  15. I fancy us to finish well up the league next season. Without the pressure of playing every three days, we'll be pushing the big six teams all the way.
  16. This and also - Puel did a cracking job - kudos to him
  17. 10 years ago he was a poor Pompey striker who left them for Olympiakos. Today, he's a 36-year-old without a contract, and suddenly Pompey are his true passion and spiritual home and he wants to come back. Do other clubs do this? I've not noticed it. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/lualua-i-want-to-come-home-to-pompey-1-7834446

    FA Cup

It proves absolutely sweet FA. We're in a final, quit complaining.
  19. That's a wonderful dream but Man U have a heck of a lot of height in their side with players like Pogba 1.91, Fellalini 1.94 and Ibrahimovic 1.95. Caceres is only 1.83 - it would be a horrible mismatch to have him pick up Zlatan.
  20. Jordan Cross writes incoherent rubbish, and he doesn't know what an analogy is. "Paul Cook this week used the analogy of a clipped, intense round-robin to sort out who’s getting out of terrain which feels increasingly godforsaken in footballing terms." http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/the-clatter-of-pompey-promotion-numbers-being-crunched-1-7823345
  21. I think most of us are looking forward to the cup final.
  22. Can I be the first to congratulate the Skates on beating Accrington Stanley at home. With that result, they're sitting pretty in sixth spot in League 2.
  23. Not good enough, Puel out. We are heading for relegation. And what is Reed doing wasting money on Gabbiadini when we're calling out for a new centre back.
  24. I can only conclude that the News have set some poor work experience nark to ape the wonderful Mr Allen. Anyways, it's resulted in a fantastic piece about the legendary power of the amazing few including: - The night "Ronaldinho and Co paid tribute to the Fratton faithful." - Laugh-a-minute spelling and grammar errors such as: "A special night which has gone down in Pompey Legend. A huge army of 12,000 fans mad the pilgrimage to Anfield for the League Cup tie." - A non sequitur of an ending: "Here’s five other memorable games when the club’s following took centre stage." (except there aren't five other games) http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/the-days-when-pompey-fans-showed-their-might-1-7810470
