Exactly. Dalek you dismiss the position, but you do still have to take into account the amount of teams between us and relegation. For us to get relegated, that would mean 7 teams, from the bottom half, outperforming us. Yes, one, maybe two, possibly even three of them may go on a winning run, but 7 seems just a tad unlikely.

Am I the only one that thinks Pochettino's judgement perhaps deserves some respect when it comes to CB's? He was an international in the position after all? Or does that make me silly? I like Jos, can be a bit calamity at times, but I think that is equally true of all our defenders. I think he size & stature make his errors seem worse than perhaps some of the others. CB signing of top quality is absolute priority for me in the summer.

I'm not doubting you, and I haven't seen him play so it would be silly of me to anyway. I do think however, CBs in general can take a bit longer to come on than other players. I can't think of a gat deal of CBs that have really come through to the prem whilst still in their teens, obviously there will be some exceptions of course. But I think compared to othe positions, they tend to take a bit longer to develop? Part of which you have identified, is the filling out aspect? Anyways, hopefully the club see enough in him to think he can make it, and lets hope he does push on!

But I thought it was a myth that MP was any good at espanyol? Just like the idea that the team is playing well under him? The forum oracles told me so, so it must be FACT. I'm ever so confused.
