I didn't reply to you because, frankly, I didn't give a toss and when I read the PM I didn't have time to reply - having better things to do with my spare time and all that. My aim was to reply in full when I had the opportunity (ie, at work), thanking you for the offer of the info but to explain that it wouldn't really mean much to me so you would probably be better off keeping it to yourself if it was so sensitive. Quite why you've now thrown a childish fit because someone didn't reply to you on an internet message board is quite puzzling to me and hopefully, on reflection, quite worrying to you. For clarification, the idea that Pulis Jnr joined us because at some point in the past Pulis Snr nearly joined us did strike me as bullsh1t, hence my inital reply. I did a little research and the proft that Pompey would have had to mkae on each flat in order to pay for their new ground was more than double the margins that the most successful building and development compnaies in the UK do. Just doesn't make any sense that Crouch was going to sack Pearson and replace him with Pulis when a) You hammered Lowe for sacking Pearson and b) Pulis had just won promotion to the PL. Or it was months before Lowe came back - and then there's no way he would have taken Pulis Jnr on to fulfil some obligation carried over from the old regime. As I say, makes no sense to me...

Pulis was lined up as our manager? Who by? When? Before we appointed Pearson? 6 months before Lowe came back? Or at the end of that season? Was Crouch going to sack Pearson too then? Sounds highly unlikely that's the reason why Jnr was signed and could well be rubbish.

Except if your left winger is having a mare, it's rarely terminal to your chances of winning a game. When one of your central midfielders is putting the kind of dreadful performances that Wotton has done for the whole of the last 2 games, you're never going anywhere.

We didn't think he's give up the athletics yet, but did think maybe Dwain Chambers or Darren Campbell might be interested.

It's spot on though because in each league game this season he has failed to provide any shield for the back 4, he has failed to help us win possession and he has failed to help us keep possession. That's pretty poor for a central midfielder and that's why people are on his case.

Doesn't matter a jot. If someone is a natural leader they don't need to wear a f-ing armband. Christ, of all our problems this must be ranked around 735th most important.
