I heard from a someone, who heard from someone, who had heard from an Echo reporter that there was a tie up between the Swiss company talking to Fry and the energy drink company Redbull. Anyone else here this?

Agreed. The real money behind Pinnacle, if there is any, need to come out because nobody is buying into Fialka as our saviour. I still think Pinnacle started off their bid with completely different backers, who pulled out late, and TL had being playing for time while trying to find a replacement, and so far the best he could find was our friend from North London. Just a guess.

It's a case of anyone will do now I'm afraid. But from a high of a few weeks ago they have gone down a lot in my opinion. All the talk of "just ironing out a few issues, should be signed tomorrow", and "our client is worth hundreds of millions", and it still isn't signed and the moneyman is a letting agent living with his mum. Allegedly. As I say, anyone will do now, but given the choice the Swiss seem to at least be real.

I would love it to happen, but whats different from the other half-dozen times someone from Pinnacle have said 'tomorrow'?

My guess, based on nothing more than spending too much time on here is... Pinnacle had a backer worth 100m+ as originally stated. This money man dropped out when it became clear -10 points would become -25 by the start of the season. Since then Tony L has been chasing around trying to find new money and the best he could come up with was MF. And so blame,if any, should be directed at the FL for running a flawed system, the original money man for getting cold feet so late in the day, and Tony L for not coming clean earlier about the lost money
