Her father bought the club for £13m, when she does sell up she will get in excess of £150m for it. Not sure why she needs the 'loans' paid off as well. The new FFP rules are trying to stop owners saying the money they put into their own clubs is in fact a 'loan'.

Koeman says that he is going to talk about a new contract in the near future. Southampton wants to continue with him and he says that he is open for it too. If the the club can convince him that they still want to move forward. So we've got a manager who will stay if the owners can convince him the club have some ambition to be more than mid-table. Haven't we been here before?

More Carlton Palmer to me.

The worry is more he will become an Andrew Surman quality player.

It's his 4th season in the PL now and he hasn't seemed to have advanced much even in terms of working out what his position is. The worrying thing is that he gets numerous chances in the starting line-up but can't seem to ever hold down a place and instead always gets dropped after two or three games.
