  1. Obviously we didn't need a top-rate training ground. I mean what football club would?
  2. We've kept VVD's registration document - we lost the player in May. To think we would ever get a him back in team and playing to the level he was is laughable. We've just delayed the inevitable and prevented us from getting £60m which we could have used to buy 2-3 new attacking players. As it stands we have the worst goal scoring record in the PL of of any team who didn't get relegated last season, have started the season with 3 nils out of 4 games (1 goal scored which wasn't from the spot) and addressed this issue in the window by the revolutionary method of getting rid of two strikers. So now we seem to be relying on the old stalwarts of our lack of goals is just bad luck or clinging to the belief that Davis and JWP will come up with 20+ goals.
  3. Possibly, might end up his best position as I can't see him being a CB as he refuses to head the ball. The problem is we don't have any non-PL games until January to experiment with this.
  4. Yep, you have to be a giant like Kante to play CM in the PL.......
  5. Will be announce today. Not a good move IMHO. He's only true backup to Romeu we have. (and Romeu is already only 2 yellows from a ban).
  6. Oh I wouldn't say that.....
  7. Keeping the 20% is just Fat Kat inserting her own sell on fee. If the new owners can keep the club in the PL for 5 or so years that 20% could be worth as much then as the 80% is now.
  8. I'm not sure how Stephens can play CB when he refuses to ever head the ball.
  9. Which one of the top 6 do you realistically think we could finish above? I guess Arsenal is the weakest but we finished 23 points from 6th last season and I can't really see how we are going to get much nearer this season.
  10. Of which £200m is the value of SFC.
  11. Not sure that's correct re: Pochettino. In his time here Reed just started the one game and came on as a very late sub in a few others.
  12. Ronnie Ekelund.
  13. Ronnie Ekelund.
  14. I guess it depends on whether you are a retail company trying to make a profit or a football team trying to win trophies?
  15. When most fans talk of entertaining football what they in fact mean is seeing the team win games (esp at home) and score goals. This is what Puel didn't do.
  16. The club are very good at PR. It's funny how all these stories have suddenly appeared in the last weeks. I would be shocked if they weren't leaked by the club to pave the way for his dismissal. I would say there is a very good chance he will be dismissed next week.

  18. Or the Burley Table (no food, only drink served).
  19. Silva's contract with Hull expires at the end of May.
  20. He writes articles on Alex Crook? Must be a niche market for that.
  21. Can we kidnap Silva for next season please? #puelout
  22. Puel will be our manager going into next season there's no doubt about that. However, many could argue that we would do better next season if we had Marco Silva (out of contract in a few weeks) as our boss but I don't think our board would be ready to do something as radical as get him in.
