  1. According to the BBC, the crash was yesterday evening: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/front_page/7585930.stm

    Buses

I know this has been done to death a bit, but just wanted to make a quick observation. In the wake of Saints getting rid of the bus deals, A2B who run the shuttle buses over the Itchen Bridge have put their prices up from 50p each way to a quid. I know petrol prices are high at the minute, but still...... I guess I'll be getting fitter by walking over the bridge this season.
  3. Well your map says it is West Sussex, on the original map the area is clearly in Hampshire, West Sussex is the yellow county next door. You can also see the unitary authorities on the original map, hence the small outlined area where Southampton is, same for Brighton, Plymouth etc. Therefore Baj is right, it's Portsmouth.
  4. Scudamore, this may seem like an obvious thing to say, but that's a different map..........
  5. Yeah he did, 10th Feb 2007 at The Hawthorns. 1-1. Seem to remember it being a bit of a **** goal.
  6. Cheers, I didn't realise that was the same person. Any ideas who she is?
  7. He put a curse on all our children.
  8. I'll send her down in a minute.
  9. I'm married now (only a couple of years ago, I'm not that old), but I used to pull on a night out fairly frequently. In fact, I met my wife on a night out in town (albeit the town was in Portsmouth).
  10. I don't remember ever seeing it. You know what to do MB, thanks.
  11. I guess these are 'going out dancing' venues then? Otherwise I wouldn't give a monkeys what music they played, I'd be more interested in the atmosphere and the chicas.
  12. Agreed. I'd be the first to say that Alpine has come out with some right rubbish in the past, but people are just jumping on his back for no reason nowadays. Yes he's still being a bit negative, but nothing Alpine is saying is that ridiculous, and it certainly doesn't warrant the abuse he's getting.
  13. Didn't they say when they announced the Birmingham cup tickets that the online system was going to be down for a couple of weeks while it's being upgraded? There was definitely something, but looking on the website it seems to have vanished. Looking back at this thread, it was where the link in the first post points to, however they've updated the page and removed the info, which is helpful of them...... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=520
  14. One or two people on here run pubs don't they? They should ring up and see what Asturius have to say.
  15. The problem is, people remember he scored a few decent free kicks for Leeds about 7 years ago and think he's still like that.
  16. I got my figures from Soccerbase, which is generally more accurate than wiki. But hey, if I'm wrong I'm wrong. http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=3308
  17. He's only played 26 games (and 6 as sub) in the past 4 years. He used to be good, but I'd worry what sort of shape he's in these days. Last season Sunderland lost 6, and drew 2 of the 8 games he featured in, including a 7-1 defeat at Everton.
  18. Judging by how empty it was on Saturday, no-one. I was quite surprised, Birmingham ought to be one of the most popular games of the season for the corporate folks. Maybe Lawrie was doing something useful after all...........
  19. Presumably they still have reserve games up north?
  20. Depends if we wrote it into the loan agreement or not. Knowing us, probably not........
  21. I'm sure the airlines will be prepared to fly him anywhere he wants to go, after all he's got lots of money and can afford first class. Quite a few airports have hotels airside nowadays don't they? If I was him I'd check into one of them, at least for a couple of weeks until the journalists get bored. Potentially he could stay in one of them for the rest of his life, like in that Tom Hanks film.
  22. Apparently he's on his way to Hong Kong now.
  23. There were supposed to be a couple of tall (though not that tall), buildings going up in London. It was a pet project of Ken Livingstone though, so i'm not sure what will happen now Boris is in charge.
  24. Hmm, I might have imagined it. The number was in my head for some reason.
