I think it should be made clear that this isn't a cost specifically targeted at the travel club. Everyone has to pay to use the car parks now (free for 30 minutes so you can pop into the shop or buy some tickets).

For the people asking for proof, the car park prices were up on the walls on Saturday. Therefore it would be pretty easy to prove or disprove.

Surely plan B was to bring Lallana on? We didn't want to have to use him as he's had no pre-season. Once he came on he made a big difference.

Out of interest, how much did that cost pedg? I like the idea, as we only have a small area of grass, of which some is quite shady so the grass doesn't grow very well. It's also a hassle getting the lawnmower out for such a small area, so it always looks a mess. A smaller lawn also has a larger proportion of 'edge', which is always difficult to keep tidy.

It's funny actually, as we stepped in to play Sutton after Fulham reneged on a contractual agreement to play them under the terms of them signing a player........

As I recall, a couple of people did manage to get hold of the Southend programme and couldn't see anything untoward. I wonder if they will be comparing it to the version that goes up online. Maybe the whole thing was a scam to build up interest in this new venture.

I agree with a lot of what has been said in this thread. It's just the same old people, having the same old arguments, time and time again. I've just cancelled my subscription, and I'm going to see how I get on without it.
