I hadn't realised until this morning that Les Reed got the sack at Charlton to make way for Pardew. That's probably not the best foundation for a solid working relationship.
I'm surprised they don't seem to have had someone lined up before giving Pardew the push. That would seem to suggest that it wasn't particularly planned. Has anyone come up with the theory that Cortese was annoyed that Pards didn't play Guly for longer at the weekend?

They've sold him to Genoa, who have then immediately loaned him to AC Milan for the season and Milan have an option to sign him next summer.

An interesting point, as my kids will be in the same situation and catchment area as yours. I don't really have a problem with my two going to Priory when the time comes, I'm more worried they'll get beaten up for being scummers.
