So you'd get 10 pints for your £40. Think I'll give it a miss.
-
Or you could look at a more recent game (how about Bournemouth away for example? Or Swindon.) where we let a goal in but still went on to win.
-
I see Forecast has been back on the bench for the last couple of games. What happened to the keeper from Arsenal who we brought in on loan? He was sub against Swindon. Do the management not like the look of him, in which case has he gone back?

There is a gulf between our home and away form, but it doesn't seem to be the way you think it is. We have the second best away record in the league (1 point behind Brighton). We are 8th in the home league table.

The difference between Southampton and Brighton...
Scummer replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
We've scored 4 in a match 6 times under him for a start. In fact I think he maybe suffers as a result of that, as people clearly have started to expect that sort of performance every week. -
It would be a failure, but you seem to blame Adkins for that when in reality it was wasting the first 6 weeks of the season that is costing us. We have been very consistent since then, and have had promotion standard levels of form pretty much since Nigel arrived at Saints.

I saw the Monkees in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire in the Summer of 2006.

She probably put it on a table.

He'll only see action if Kelvin gets injured. Hardly likely to drop our keeper for someone who's only here for a month.

Yes it's a very flat course (there are no hills in Portsmouth), but as you say the last couple of miles are along the seafront and the wind is normally blowing in from the southwest so you are running straight into it. It's not what you want when you are already starting to feel quite knackered. I've done it a few times, but not for a couple of years. I'm tempted to give it a go this year actually, I could do with trying to get a bit fitter. It does help when the start line is only about half a mile from your front door.

I thought this thread was about Javi. He loves Le Tissier as well.

I see Jimmy Bullard has gone to Ipswich. Presumably this frees up Norris to move to Pompey, so they can spend some more money that they don't have.
-
Brighton went 5 games without a win recently. If that was to happen again it would be game on.
-
According the today's Portsmouth News a league 1 club has made a bid for one of the two players Pompey are trying offload, Brown and Hughes. Wouldn't be surprised if we were trying to bring Hughes in.

Hopefully we'll avoid the need for the play offs, but it's just been announced that the League 1 and 2 play off finals will take place at Old Trafford this year. I think it's because the Champions League final is at Wembley and the dates clash.

The Sun holidays mentioned above, if you go to France, are actually Keycamp/Eurocamp (same company) holidays. We went to one outside Paris in the Autumn, 3 bedroom Keycamp caravan on a great site. We've just booked another one in May in the Loire. £250 for two adults, two children and return ferry crossing on the fastcat from Portsmouth to Caen for a week. Fantastic value for money. Keycamp/Eurocamp holidays are good value in the first place. We had another holiday with Keycamp earlier last year as well. I'm definitely a convert (doing 10 nights all inclusive in the Canaries this summer as well though).

Wasn't there for some reason. Just had some games from last season. Strangely when I just tried to select seats it offered me the exact 3 seat numbers we have but a couple of rows further forward, so I've just bought them.
-
How can I book my season ticket seat through the online sales? Can't see what I need to select? I've got 2 linked season ticket seats I need to buy as well.

It was A2B, they just had a bigger bus than usual (and one of the normal smaller ones).

What were some of our players moaning to the referee about after that goal? Lallana was going on at him for ages.

Looking for a laptop. Want to spend as little as possible (£300 tops). It'll mainly be used for internet browsing, watching iPlayer etc. Needs a reasonable sized and decent quality screen so that more than one of us can see it at te same time. Also for storing our photos. Saw this in Bestbuy yesterday, and probably going to get it today unless anyone has a better suggestion? http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/product/1000146015/product.aspx

Sorry, but a £50 Teknika Bluray player from Tesco is not going to be as good as other players.

Mario Kart is fantastic. Yes the wii has wifi. There is online play. Lego Star wars is good.

Safe Standing Bill in Parliament - template letter now attached
Scummer replied to bungle's topic in The Saints
Would Saints be allowed to have a standing area now if they wanted one? Other league 1 grounds have terracing. Or is it a case of once you are all seater you aren't allowed to change back. I realise this would have only been a short term measure as we won't be in this division for long. -
Hope Saints realise it's a home game:
