I don't get it. What's this supposed to do?
-
Recipe for disaster. Isn't Sven a chequebook manager? Pompey have run out of money, and even if they hadn't the transfer window is shut.
-
To be fair, we aren't really in a position to give up our shirt sponsorship money. Having said that, I didn't think Wednesday were either......
-
I don't recall any touchline theatrics, I'm not sure where this idea has come from. He wasn't a particularly animated manager.
-
Jeez it's cringeworthy to read that now. I think they seriously believed that the youth were going to do well in this league.
-
Yeah I'm pretty sure they were never 'appointed'. Definitely no press conference etc, I always saw them as caretakers.
-
My arse was he playing in midlfield.
-
Well, for starters it wouldn't be very professional. Might even be in breach of some directors code or other if you signed up to future expenses for your company when you knew you were about to leave. I'm not even sure Pearsons contract was up, I heard there was a break clause in there at the end of the season, and it's that that Lowe invoked.
-
Simple. Some people like him, some don't.
-
What were Liverpool moaning about after the goal? As I'd missed the previous minute I had no idea.

Controversial post alert - ignore if you like Lowe

I'm sure I remember Jonah coming on here last season saying that Lowe and Wilde were awful people for trying to destabilise the club whilst it was fighting a relegation battle. You could barely stop him talking about it. -
Who will you support if Saints go really under ?

If there was a top rugby club in the area, I'd go to watch them. If I could get tickets, I'd take my son to watch Arsenal a few times a season and he could support them. -
Surely it doesn't matter what the third bottom team in each year did, but the fourth bottom?
-
Remember she was only on the puppet football club board though, I get the impression they had very little power and probably didn't have much say in the finances. The PLC board is the only one that matters.

18p a share, surely now the time is right!!

There's a closing down sale on. -
But still better than what we've got.
-
I think it's fair to say that they are going to lose a chunk of current season ticket holders whatever price they come up with. With that in mind, maybe they need to get away from the idea of early bird renewals, and just have early bird prices open to all. The only way this club can start to grow again is to get 'new' people through the door, they can't rely on the current season ticket holders all the time. They've made this mistake for the past few years. The renewal prices have been great if you've already got a season ticket, but there was little incentive for people who didn't currently have an ST.
-
Remember there's a further 17 point deduction if you don't come out of admin via a CVA. There's every chance we'd get that as well, next season.

Bright sunshine in Portsmouth now and most of the snow has melted.
-
That all makes perfect sense, until you realise that the two transfers were totally unrelated. We sold Davies 10 days before we signed Pulis.
-
They'd better get a move on, as it's just ****ing down with sleet/rain now, all the snow is just melting.
-
Like I said, explain to me how? To save you the trouble, Lowe went because Wilde and Crouch bought a load of shares and used them to evict him. Simple as that.
-
Ok, how about you explain exactly how the fans got rid of Lowe? Actual facts, not just feelings please.
-
In what sense? They haven't won a match since November.
