  1. yep, just the 2 draws and 4 defeats against them since promotion. On that basis, going to predict a 1-0 win to Spurs, but no doubt we'll have our fair share of chances without really scoring. I bet it will be Kane who scores too.
  2. **** dammit
  3. we lead 1-0!!!
  4. and could, and most likely should, have had a penalty.
  5. vest could have scored that
  6. Gunn Valery Yoshida Vestegaard Bednarek Bertrand Romeu PEH JWP Redmond Austin 532 I think
  7. Shouldn't Slattery be playing in the U23 game then if he doesn't make the bench tomorrow at the very least? Guess we'll find out tomorrow. I don't think he was in Wednesday's squad against Fulham, might have been on bench for Arsenal game though.
  8. Average position of remaining opponents Newcastle 11.3 Crystal Palace 11.2 Burnley 8.4 Brighton 10.5 Southampton 9.5 Cardiff 9.5 for all the fixture comparisons this was quite a surprising statistic! but... Cardiff face four of the top six between now and May 12 - Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Man United - and have six away games in their remaining 10. It's not looking good for Neil Warnock's side, particularly on the back of two heavy defeats against Watford and Everton

    Attendance

our stadium capacity has gone down too by about 300 seats as well I think, down to 20th in the list of biggest football stadiums in England+Wales now.
  10. even Pellegrino managed a 0-0 last season at OT If Ralph does worse, then MoPe>Ralph ;)
  11. I would say these two teams are the two who do have something to play for- the one who finishes 7th will very likely play in Europe next year.
  12. going to predict a routine 2-0 win for United- Lukaku and someone else to score.
  13. yes, a whole 16 points ahead but like us.
  14. I would play a 4231, and I'd like to see Gallagher play, even though I've not seen him ever train obviously, but I liked what I saw in the cameo he had against Brighton in the LC (all the way back in August!). If not, then let's give Austin a run out. McCarthy Valery Bednarek Vestegaard Bertrand Romeu PEH JWP Armstrong Redmond Gallagher I also think it is time for our 6ft 7 centreback to get on the scoresheet soon. Let's get some dangerous crosses into the mixer and create chaos in their box. However, when that inevitably fails, let's use the last 30 minutes to put the very little pace we have on, using Sims and Elyounoussi. Although, Fulham have played 3 at the back in some games I think, if that is the case again I say we should play a 442 or a variant with 2 up top.
  15. Ralph said after the game that he chose Gunn because of the opposition- something about him preferring a sweeper keeper in Gunn over McCarthy. He made the same choice against Chelsea away last month. I think there is no doubt that this game represents our best chance of picking up points for a while yet, and not picking up points here would just make it so much more difficult for ourselves. I would go 4 at the back too, we really should not need to use 3 centre backs against Fulham at home.
  16. https://arsenal-mania.com/forum/threads/pl-arsenal-v-southampton-february-24-2019-14-05-gmt.33534/ Safe to say some of them don’t like us
  17. They actually stopped it halfway through this season I think- remember reading an article about how that might help improve our home form As for the Fulham game, just got myself another email yesterday about how the offer has been extended till Sunday to get tickets for £20. I can’t attend midweek football but I guess this is likely why we won’t get a stadium expansion anytime soon
  18. It is £20 for everyone as long as they have a purchase history is my guess, as I don't have a season ticket and never bothered with a membership this season anyway. Check your emails maybe? I received an email with the subject titled 'an exclusive offer for you', and the message was as follows:
  19. 2 headers, 2 goals now for them. The bookies market for managers must be shifting, can't see Sarri lasting certainly more than end of this season, might even be cut by end of this week after the league cup final.
  20. Nepotism happens everywhere and tbh it is an understandable concept as to why it happens anyway. elites are self-perpetuating and it isn’t a meritocratic society just yet
  21. I've captained Aubameyang for my fantasy premier league, but I fully expect us to lose 1-0 and him not to get on the score-sheet anyway. McCarthy Valery-Yoshida-Bednarek-Vestegaard-Bertrand JWP-Romeu-PEH Redmond-Long This is what I expect the team to be, but personally I would put Armstrong in over JWP/Romeu if he is fit/available. I presume Lemina and Obafemi remain out, as Ings is anyway.
  22. yeah agreed there, i've always maintained he'll never be a top 6 player or someone who'll push us to 7th/8th the way Mane/Tadic did a midtable PL player finally showing the midtable qualities he has
  23. i think he meant what most of us say and that's 'bog standard'?
  24. Watford home and Burnley away too
